This adapter is well made and easily threaded onto the male brass adapter I was using to connect to a washer fill hose. However if you're using this in the United States, the included brass ferule for the 1/4" side is too small to fit over brand new copper tubing so be sure to have some additional ferules and nuts on hand.

This is the perfect connector for connecting outdoor hose to water line on a deck, patio or garage fridge. All you need is a 3/4 spigot and a 1/4 water line connected to icemaker and water on the the back of your fridge. 30 seconds to connect. Thank you.

I needed a branch from my washer to my fridge line and this worked great. Perfect fit

I used this to provide water from a quarter turn ball valve after the water softener to run to the ice maker of the refrigerator in the garage. It was the old fridge that came with the house, and the ice maker stood empty until one day I realized I could be making extra ice for Thanksgiving and other gatherings. Works great!

These fittings do not work. The brass "olive" does not compress properly onto the 1/4" line. Instead, when you tighten the fitting, it just mashes the olive into a complete, misshapen ball. We tried this with the olives that came with this, and with a series of other olives we had. Unfortunately, because of the weather, we weren't able to install the microdrip system until yesterday and we have missed the return window. The money we spent on this is wasted. You can see in the photo how the fittings mash the olives into a useless shape.
