10 Pcs SG90 9G Micro Servo Motor Kit (Metal Gear) for Arduino Projects, RC Robot, Robot Arm, Helicopter, Airplane, Car and Boat Control, Mini Servo Applications

This is a nice set of these small servos that work well for my proof of concept project. They aren't super powerful, but not advertised as such, but they'll do the job for a project you might be planning that needs many multiple servos to work. I hooked one up to a servo controller and it worked well and was very quiet. 180 degrees of movement which will work fine for my project ahead. If you need a bunch of little plastic geared servos, this is a great assortment that will give you 10 of them. I'm very satisfied with the purchase. Just as advertised.

Look, if you’ve spent any time in the hobbyist world, you know the heartbreak of hearing that crunch-grind-pop sound when a plastic-gear SG90 hits a snag. It’s the universal sound of a project going on hiatus. That’s why this Smraza 6-pack is basically the "adulting" version of the standard micro servo. It's cheap, it's tough, and it fixes the biggest flaw of the entry-level kits.

These are the same size as sg90's but use less power and produce slightly less strength . But plenty strong pull for my airplane control surfaces . but that is good for models 6 foot span and under for me . No extra BEC needed for my model .

Good value for the money. Servos work as they should and include plenty of attachments. Perfect for controlling turnouts on my model railroad. Only complaint is that they are advertised as having metal gears when clearly the gears are plastic.

Smooth operating servos

I recently picked up a 10-pack of Smraza SG90 9G Micro Metal Servos for my DIY robotics projects, and my experience has been a bit mixed. On the positive side, the servos that did work delivered the expected torque and responsiveness, allowing for accurate and stable control. They integrated well with my Arduino setup and seemed to hold up under moderate loads, achieving the advertised 9 grams of force without issues. However, the biggest disappointment was that 4 out of the 10 servos were defective right out of the box. That’s a pretty high failure rate, and it’s frustrating when nearly half of the set is unusable. The functioning units are reliable and do exactly what I need, but the quality control concerns make me hesitate to recommend them without reservations. If you’re lucky and all of them work, these servos can be great little helpers in various projects. But the risk of receiving multiple defective units is something to keep in mind if you’re considering this 10-pack.

Rating is based on value. These are inexpensive plastic servos and likely will not withstand long term heavy use, but that is not what these servos are for. In the right application, I am sure they will be fine. Expectations need to be adjusted accordingly. The motors all worked as delivered, just be aware of differences in the behavior from one instance to another. Range of motion and precision was somewhat inconsistent. Detailed electrical, mechanical, and performance specifications would be nice to have. All connectors and wires were properly terminated and worked fine. Screws and servo horns were useful. Durability is not rated since that is a function of time and duty cycle. Overall, decent value but would not pay more. They are right at the edge of being over priced.
