The bean bag comes in a box ( quite a large one) and the bean bags themselves are ideal for children up to about ten or twelve years old ( but are probably more ideal for about 4 years up to 8 or 9 years old) . The most important thing I think you should know about these bean bags though is how you cannot wash them without buying the extra zip-on bag that you then have to tip all the little polystyrene balls into . I would recommend reading the extra information on the page, which I didn’t at first and was stumped about how to empty the bag ready for the wash. Don’t be fooled into thinking it’s a doddle to do; it’s not, but it’s also not impossible. The bean bags themselves though are lovely and are also lovely quality. I hope this helps . **Q: Can you just leave this bag with the beads inside the beanbag cover, and only take it out when the cover need washing?** A: The easy fill cover zips onto the outer cover. The beads are transferred to the easy fill , it is zipped up and the outer cover removed for washing. This is easy to do with only a few beads escaping. **Q: I have a different bean bag from dunelm..but was wondering if i could use this for that??? It desperately needs a wash and this would be ideal!** A: You can, only think with RUcomfy refills and beanbags is the zip system for empty and refill.
