I ordered a pair in XL size and as soon as I put them on I knew they were what I had been looking for, Light, comfortable and a good level of protection. The fit is perfect, the pad stays in place without chafing. They are a lower profile than the Fox pads I was using and there are no problems wearing them under 3/4 shorts. They are a little expensive but I'm happy with paying the extra cash for a pad that I can actually wear without discomfort. I think POC now do a Downhill version that may be worth looking at if you need something more robust, after all these are more of a XC / Enduro pad. Review: Good protection, mild comfort, way better than gauze and cohesive wrap. - At 62 years old I did not bounce and roll during the last crash, I just sort of slid and left a lot of skin behind. As with other reviews they are mildly uncomfortable but you get used to it. I have downhill parks day in this year, two big falls. and not one complaint. They stay in place well and feel comfortable on the decent.
