Bioda Professional Strength Drain Cleaner, Septic Safe, 1 Gallon

I've been dealing with a funky smell coming from the drain for months. I've tried quite a few methods to make it go away. Had the septic tank pumped and hosed out. Totally not kidding. It's pretty funky. Standard drain-o kind of products (plumber says don't bother, they don't work). Snaking drains. Bleach cleaners. Baking soda and vinegar. Even got a long snakey brush thingy to scrub the pipes. Next day the funk is back. Super frustrating. Watched a bunch of videos and most say something similar. Try all the methods above and if they fail, could be something more ominous, so call a plumber. Ok did that. When I talked to my go to plumber about it he said to get something like this product. In comes Bioda. Awesome. Delivered same day between 5 and 10 PM. Whoot! Man I tell ya, I really wasn't expecting a positive result. Half a cup down the shower drain. Put a little down the sink drain and tub drain for good measure. Lo and behold, no funk. And just to be sure, I've been putting a half cup down the drain, as per the directions for a super funky drain, for the last few days. I am gleefully reporting that there is no longer a bad odor. May be premature but the preliminary results are encouraging. The drain smells good and is flowing fast. I'm kicking myself for not doing it sooner. Can't get much easier. Not sure I want to know what kind of miracle is happening down in my pipes with this stuff, but I am very pleased with this product. I'd totally buy it again and give it this highest recommendation, although I did get a gallon, and you only need a half cup per week for maintenance (per the instructions). So it's way cheaper than a plumber and considering the excellent result for a half cup (32 uses per gallon - about .85 cents per use), couldn't be happier. Loving my shower again.

Works better than I had expected. No more stinky drains in the kitchen or either bathroom. Sinks drain faster with all that biological matter removed. Also, no place for the drain flies to lay their eggs in. I'm very pleased with this purchase 😃

We had a sewage back up due to roots growing in our main sewage line. And yes, that funk actually did come up the drain of our shower and bathtub. Plumber came and fixed the issue, very grateful. BUT the smell came soon after. Whiffs in the air, overnight walking into the bathroom it smelling like a portapotty. Tried vinegar and baking soda several times, tried bleach water, tried draino. Nothing worked, I seriously thought that I'd have to just accept this nasty smell. Then I saw this product and I said well why not? The day it arrived I used it that night my friends and the next morning....... NO STINK!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you. It worked so well, three days later still no smell.

This drain cleaner worked so well!! We had a funky odor coming from our bathroom sink and no amount of bathroom cleaner could eliminate it. This product eliminated the odor right away and caused no damage at all to our matte black drain hardware. I look forward to using it monthly as a part of my maintenance plan.

We have a septic tank, so what we use to keep our drains clear matters. We found out about Bioda, and how its enzyme based formula works to keep drains clear, and is safe to use for septic tanks. After repeated use of Bioda, we have not experienced any more clogged drains. It really works. Recommended.

This product doesn't really clear a slow drain. I feel it's benefit would be more for a maintenance purpose after the drain is cleared but I have not been able to test that out since my drain is still very sluggish.

Worked wonderfully on my shower stall bottom, which is starting to peel and give off a very unpleasant smell. Waiting for an appointment to have the shower reglazed, but in the meantime, this helps with the strange ammonia smell that permeates the shower every time water hits it. The paint is off-gassing and mixing with any bacteria. Constant cleaning with disinfectant doesn't help, but this enzymatic cleanser helps until the shower is wet again.
