Why is this being advertised as having hood strings when the images do not show any?

IDK, mine does not have strings either. But I don't usually tie my hood, so I'm OK with it. I'll bet you could pull a shoestring thru the hood hem if you need a string.

52 inches at armpit. Note that I soaked it in fabric softener in cool water and wet blocked it. It may have gained some width, at least an inch, after I did this.
