So far this is a great little coffee machine. One tip for a good tasting cup of coffee - throw out the mesh filter and use the small paper basket filters. The difference in taste is huge. No sludgy yuck in the coffee. Also make sure the plastic filter basket is properly seated or you’ll end up with a mess. Ask me how I know. Easy to clean and brews relatively quickly. A full pot in about 10 minutes. All in all it’s a good little machine that makes a decent small pot of coffee. I just hope it lasts for a while.

WOW!!! I replaced a 10-year old 4-cup coffee maker with this one after the predecessor had a fall. This one brews one more cup, brews it FAST and looks great on my countertop. It is smaller and more stylish; I love the stainless accents. The coffee was spectacular; smoooooooth like butter; so delicious and not bitter at all! Not sure if new tech brews it faster or better or it's just new and cleaner or what, but this lil' coffee maker absolutely rocks! I'm a value shopper and Elite Gourmet checks every box and then some! Haven't used the permanent filter but I like the option to. LOVE, love, love this coffee maker!

What can I say...if you put a filter in it, add some ground coffee, add some water, plug it in and turn it on....it makes coffee! The only complaint I have is that if you pour the coffee too hard/fast it can dribble onto the counter because the little spout isn't quite shaped with a deep enough "curl"...so, that's annoying, but other than that....it works!

This little guy has been working great! Our old pot was taking 40 minutes to brew a pot of coffee (hence why we bought this one), and this one does it in minutes with the same great taste of our beans! The numbers on the side of the carafe and the numbers on the side of the water tank are a bit misleading, as they don't line up with one another (i.e., if I fill my pot to the 4-cup line with water, then pour it into the tank, it fills the water tank to the 5-cup line). But as long as you pick one to be your guide and use it consistently, it's all fine. I LOVE that the filter is a little mesh basket and that I don't have to buy any paper liners. Such a win in my book. Super pleased with this purchase.

The Coffee Pot. This is Great Little 5 Cup Coffee Pot. We tried it out after cleaning it of course and the coffee came out like Gourmet coffee from Star Bucks (all though I do not do Star Bucks but if I did I think this is how it would taste, clean, refreshing and flavor you can only get from a good coffee making machine. It is not to tall, has a inner basket if your coffee is not ground to fine, but you can take that out and use a filter or put the filter in and then put the coffee in the supplied filter and do a double filter. Has a good weight to it and the Glass Carafe is fairly thick so you do not have to worry about a slight bump on the tile. Brews at a nice fairly Hot temperature and the no-drip valve works flawlessly when needing that coffee Quick and strong (others will get weaker coffee but that is their problem). No frills just an on/off switch but does have a Boil Dry Protection for safety. Nice dark black color, and easy to remove and re-insert the basket. Filters fir perfectly in the secondary basket minus the one they provide. Cord is not very long but is satisfactory. All in all for a one or two person coffee pot it is absolutely a Joy. That's what I have to say... "Ehhhhh". This is the perfect size I wanted. The price I wanted. But I guess you get what you pay for. This doesn't have a timed off and that really killed it for me. Yes I use it, but have been recently shopping for a new coffee maker.

The machine does its job, and honestly that already puts it ahead of half the appliances in my kitchen that exist purely to mock me. It brews coffee. It brews it fast enough. It tastes like coffee. That’s the holy trinity. Now, does it spill a little when you pour? Sure. But before we declare the coffee maker guilty, let’s acknowledge the possibility that my hand shakes like I’m trying to defuse a bomb while detoxing from a three-day caffeine binge. Hard to blame the machine when I’m over here gripping the carafe like a raccoon trying to steal shiny objects. The “Pause N Serve” feature is clutch. I can yank the pot mid-brew like an impatient gremlin, and the machine just sighs and lets me. The reusable filter is nice too, because at least something in my life is both economical and environmentally responsible. Overall: Great little coffee maker, makes enough to keep me from committing unspeakable morning violence, and only spills when I forget how to use my own hands. Could be the product. Could be me. Probability leans strongly toward me. 5 stars, minus half a star for exposing my inability to pour liquid like a functional adult.

I like the fact that it has nothing digital on it and a reusable filter basket. A simple small coffee maker with an on off switch. I have it plugged into a smart plug and can tell it to start as soon as I wake up. Makes 2 mugs of coffee.

Well designed. Flavourable coffee. nice having the grounds basket, just quick wash and back in business, no paper filters required.
