The bad reviews are likely from people who have not learned the simple skill that is required for accurate splits. Here is the procedure for cutting small round pills accurately.My Instructions for a round pillPlace the pill in the smallest bed that has a little space left over.1. Hold the cutter open, in your left hand, at an angle of about 45° (the pivot will be low on the left).2. Place the pill into the pill bed with your right hand. (If the pill is scored align the split with the blades.) The pill should be balanced against the lowered end of the pill bed and the lower blade at the same time. When placed this way, the pill will will automatically be centered.3. Gently lower the upper blade onto the pill, trapping the pill in the centered position.4. Gently, but firmly press down the upper blade to complete the cut.The bad reviews have apparently caused this Swiss Pill Cutter company to go out of business.
