This means that the yellow button only just hits the microswitch. If you press the button off centre it doesn’t hit the microswitch at all. This issue is exacerbated by the use of cheap materials. The plastic of the button is soft and bendy. This means that the internal supports that hold the button centre within the outer button casing bends if pressed off centre. This allows the button to rock and twist rather then depress uniformly. Clearly poor design and cheap materials.
