The brush that came with it was nice and sturdy and worked well to apply the mask over my entire face. I didn't feel the mask smeared or streaked. It went on smoothly and felt nice and cool as it was applied.I know some say they felt tingling but I just felt the mask start to dry and had no irritation. As the mask dries, it lightens, so you can see when it is entirely dry and you can also feel it tighten as it dries on your face. After 10-15 minutes it advises that you wash it off with tepid to warm water. I did this and it was very easy to remove. It washes off easily without the need to scrub and it isn't drippy or messy. My face felt clean and smooth after the mask and didn't feel tight as it often does after other masks I have used. I used a toner and moisturizer after the mask and my skin felt very soft and looked better after just the first use. It didn't overly dry it and make my face produce too many oils to make it greasy later. The mask just seemed to clear up the congestion on my face. Because my skin is sensitive Im only using this once a week, so I can't say if it helps with fine lines / wrinkles, but it is very nice and I'll be purchasing it again.It is mud, and while the jar isn't huge you only need a thin layer to cover your face so I imagine it'll last quite a while.I used the handle fan brush that was included and applied a thin layer onto my clean face. After 5 minutes it was dry and I was able to remove it easily with warm water and a wash cloth.
