I have to lift it over the edge to get the sheets on or off and I'm not that tall or physically strong. My husband is a side sleeper and turns all through the night. It's a chore to keep the deep pocket fitted sheet on the mattress any day of the week. These suspenders work. You attach them to either side of one corner and then slide them under the mattress to the other end. The elastic in-between the top and bottom grippers is stretchy and generous with adjusters to make it as snug/loose as you need. Because of the side walls of my bed, it's a chore for me. I imagine if you have a bed that is free standing using these would be a breeze. I give it five stars because it holds the sheet on the bed.
