Do you mean an ethernet socket? If you do the answer is no. The panel heater must be connected to a permanent mains (240v) supply. I've never done it but if you disconnect the mains it may loose the settings such as the timer. Best to keep it connected permanently. I use a fused spur to connect mine. **Q: When wall mounted is there any room between the panel and the wall? I have a high skirting board which protrudes a centimetre or so out.** A: The bracket takes approximately 20mm of the 84mm depth of the heater when this is wall mounted. **Q: Can this be hard wired into a fused spur** A: Yes it can be hard wired into a fused spur.
