OEM part works perfectly
I also have the Delta Lahara faucet (in a house I moved into), and like many others I also had to go down the rabbit hole of learning about how different years' models of this same faucet design used different stem valves, and the fact that my sink was probably installed about 15-20 years ago, meaning the one I'd need for MY model was NOT the same part the Delta website says I want, because that's based on their CURRENT model. This was complicated by the fact that I couldn't find a 3/32 Allen wrench to remove the set screw on the handle and actually pull out the unit and check it, until I had the opportunity to go buy another set of hex wrenches. Finally I was able remove the handle and take out the existing stem valve and visually compare with the pictures and I could confirm which one was the right one for me. On a whim, I went to Ace hardware to check out compatible replacements, but the one they had used a plastic stem all the way through, not brass, and I felt that would be a downgrade as long as I'm replacing a part on an expensive faucet. One visual difference is that the part I was replacing had black plastic for the lower half of the assembly, and white plastic on the upper part, while this replacement part uses white plastic across the entire body. But the color of the plastic isn't relevant to the design of the part, and this RP25513 Stem Assembly is definitely the one I needed, so I ordered it. But I ALSO ordered the RP77737 Seats and Springs kit, because some of the reading I'd done said that even with a new stem, if you don't replace the seat & spring you might still not solve the leak, and solving the regular drip was the whole reason we were doing this to begin with. I'd watched multiple videos on youtube to understand how to do the replacement, and felt relatively confident in doing it. Anyway, when they arrived, I replaced the old parts with these, and it works great. No more leak!

Stick with original Delta brand
Original Delta quality and fit. Dropped right in to replace an old leaking tub valve. For the price I wouldn't bother with any aftermarket brands, this is better long term value. Expecting to get another 10+ years of use as we did from the original valve.

Is the OEM Replacement! Highly recommend it!
Is the OEM brand replacement! Looks like the real thing. Feels like the real thing. Needed three more of these for our bathroom sinks and found these at Amazon. Did the job. Easy to install. So glad we were able to find them. Priced the same as in the hardware store. Highly recommend. Is the OEM Replacement! Highly recommend it!

OEM Delta restored faucet.
OEM Delta at a great price. I had replaced my old Delta faucet with a new lower flow faucet that I was unhappy with. It seems my municipal water pressure is only 38 psi so modern low flow faucets don't seem to work well. So I disassembled the old Delta and installed these new stem assemblies. Polished it up and it's good as new and I've got great flow again.

My house was built around 2007 and the tub handles were leaking a bit - I replaced the stem assembly and bought the recommended seal/spring set to replace those as well. Repair worked perfectly and have given the tub new life.

I have a 2004 Delta Two Handle Bathroom Faucet Victorian Collection model #3555. Not be confused with the newer model 35955. The HW tap was leaking from under the bell of the handle when the CW tap was turned on. I suspected I needed to change out the stem cartridge and seal/spring give the age of the faucet. So, I just did both as opposed to testing each separately. Tracking down the parts was somewhat easy once I identified the faucet model, however, I did run into problems which I will get to in a second. YOU NEED TO BE VERY SPECIFIC AS TO THE DELTA MODEL NUMBER AND YEAR. Even though the Victorian model looks exactly the same through the 2000’s, the replacement part numbers can be different. I found this out when I ordered what I thought to believe was the correct seat/spring #RP10700. When in fact, it was the RP4993. For my faucet, 2004 #3555 STEM/CARTRIDGE: RP 24096 (this is mostly consistent across most of the #3555 years) SEAT/SPRING: RP 4993 (this in NOT consistent across many of the #3555 and depends upon year) I ordered from Amazon and Delta parts, not knockoffs. RP 25513. This includes ONE Stem/Cartridge (RP24096) plus the ¼ turn stop (RP24097). RP 8230. This includes ONE Stem/Cartridge (RP24096) plus the seat/spring (RP10700) So, looking at all the costs, I ordered Qty 2 of the RP25513 plus Qty 1 of the RP10700 (2 seats & springs). PROBLEM: When I changed everything out for the HW tap only (I left the CW tap alone as there were no leaking), the leaking stopped BUT the faucet started dripping when I turned on the HW supply valve. After “googling” the problem, the issue was likely the Seat/Spring. I had ordered the incorrect part RP10700 when in fact the RP4993 was needed. Interesting enough, when I removed the original, the seat spring I pulled out looked to be the RP10700. When I checked the CW tap (which had no leaks), the seat/spring appeared to be the RP4993, so I took a chance and ordered it. Voila, it was the right part and both the leaking and dripping has stopped and I’m done!!

It's an original Delta part, not a "Delta equivalent" or third-party knock-off. Check the part number to be sure it is compatible with your existing faucet. Then it is a simple job to remove the old one and put the new cartridge in to fix a leak.

Fits perfect on my delta faucet. This is one thread only - if you’re fixing both handles you will have to buy two. Also remember to take a pic of the originals and adjust the new one exactly the same way other wise you may have issues once you turn the water back on. If you’re replacing these I also recommend getting the spring set to fully repair the leak (which is usually the reason these are replaced). The spring set is only a few bucks and amazon will likely listed as the commonly bought tougher item.
