This Moffatt 95049 task lamp is a flexible lamp with a direct-mount, screw-on base for lighting work areas. It has a vinyl covering for resistance to grease and oil and a 24" flex arm with a swivel adjustment at the shade for positioning light. It has a cool-touch, double wall shade for safety when adjusting the lamp and a conical reflector for focusing illumination on small work areas. It has a 6' American Wire Gauge (AWG) #18 cord with an Underwriters Laboratory (UL) 105-degree C rating and a grounded plug. It has a heat sink toggle switch at the top of the shade for dissipating heat for expanded switch life. This task lamp uses a 100 watt incandescent or halogen bulb (not included) and is suitable for use in machinery, automotive, or workshop applications.Moffatt Products manufactures task lighting, magnifiers, flex arms, and safety shields. The company, founded in 1954, is headquartered in Watertown, SD. Review: A great, well-made utilitarian light! - This is a great utilitarian light. It's very sturdy and well made. I was worried that the mounting area was too small, but in fact it's perfect. The small footprint at the base allowed me to mount this on my windowsill in the kitchen to give me some much needed light in a dark prep area. Surprisingly, the light shade stays very cool to the touch. The goose-neck is somewhat stiff but it holds where you put it without moving. Comes with two wood screws and also two bolts, allowing you to mount this anywhere. This lamp will probably outlast me! I love it. Review: Love it for my quilt room - Very nice lamp. Using it on my fabric cutting table that was a kitchen island from Ikea. Installs great on the butcher block top. Perfect lighting!

A great, well-made utilitarian light!
This is a great utilitarian light. It's very sturdy and well made. I was worried that the mounting area was too small, but in fact it's perfect. Love it for my quilt room
Very nice lamp. Using it on my fabric cutting table that was a kitchen island from Ikea. Installs great on the butcher block top. Perfect lighting!

This is not LED this take a regular light bulb the description is wrong.

Nice light with Strong arm.
This is THE light. Looked hign and low for a light of this quality for my lathe. Strong arm that stays in place. I just ordered a second.

Shade rattles
Light is good, but the shade rattles wham attached to a running machine. Probably would have bought a cheaper light had I known that.

Perfect for a belt grinder!
My mentor has this attached to his belt grinder. I loved it and bought myself one. Seems very well made. For my application it’s perfect!

Use the recommended bulb
Originally had problems where the LED bulb I was using didn’t really work all that well. The lamp would often not turn on using the switch until I actually read the label and found the correct wattage equivalent LED bulb. Works without issue now. Make sure you’re using the recommended bulbs from the label.

Perfect
Combined with a 100-watt incandescent, I can finally see what I'm working on. Mounting was easy, and it holds its "pose" like it should. Good buy.
