Mag-Torch MT780 Butane Gas Micro Torch Soldering Kit

If you have the need for a micro torch- you can't go wrong with this unit. It puts out some intense heat! You can read the features and specifications yourself. I will tell you that it a nice little unit and works well.

I have had other mini-torches, and this one is a pleasure to use! I had no problem with the child-protective switch, unlike some of the other reviewers . I was using the torch within 10 minutes of unpacking it. It is simple and quick to use. I don't know what others were using it for, but I was using it for fusing and soldering silver. I make jewelry, and it's perfect for my needs.

often doesn't ignite. when it does work, it works very well. it says i need five more words. and or.

I received this torch as a gift and I like it, however even though the model # on the package was the same as what was ordered, I received something different. There is no sight glass to see how much fuel is in it. Also the body style and flame nozzle are different. It does function the same but if you wanted the sight glass you may not get it

It sputtered a few times and then wouldn't fire. It's really a gimmick design. All the plastic switches are hard to use cheap design. Sent it back. The one to get is the Blazer GB4001. It has aluminum body and metal thumbwheel. It is the same price too. I was looking forward to using this little torch for a project I have daisy-chaining some batteries for a scooter. I could never solder anything until I bought a Weller Butane solderer, but it is too small for a job like that. The electric ones were a pain to use and dangerous even for the user. I may update this review if I find any problems but I don't expect any from the other reviews.

This little torch is just what I expected. It was easy to fill and performs well. The safety button is a little annoying. It has to be pushed each time you want to spark it.

I like the torch because I know it works but the torch the you people sent me is missing one part and I’m not happy about it!
