I think it has a slight emphasis in the bass but nothing big and what's there is enjoyable. If I was to guess the price based solely off the sound and the fact it's an iem I would have guessed somewhere in the $100-200 range at least. They aren't perfect but the soundstage, imaging, detail, and frequency response would suggest these are more expensive then $30. The downside is the cable isn't removable so when it fails you can't easily replace it but a replacement cable is usually around the cost of this whole set or more so I'm fine with it. The ear tips aren't really the best either, they could be good for some people but there wasn't a size even close enough for my ears plus the weight of these really calls for some foam tips, I used comply tips and the fit and sound were both improved. I would easily suggest these to someone looking for a neutral iem they could use day to day without worrying about losing or damaging an expensive set. No QC issues to speak of so far; I'm assuming this is a newer batch with fewer issues. Here is a shortened version of a review I made elsewhere online: Build: These single-dynamic-driver IEMs themselves are heavy and made of a shiny, fingerprint-attracting metal which I assume is brass or colored aluminum or something. I get really bad microphonics from the cable, and so the shirt clip has helped a bit with this. But since you would probably not want to wear these over-ear because of ergonomics, this is something to be aware of when buying. Setup: Hidizs Sonata II USB-C DAC. Playing Tidal lossless with USB Audio Player Pro. Sound: The description that first comes to my mind with the Crescent is "airy articulation." The imaging is leagues better than anything I've tried at this price. Treble is bright and somewhat aggressive at times, but just enough to bring out the character of the trumpets, chimes, etc. Bass is smooth and controlled, extends fairly deep, and does not limit the pleasantly balanced presence of mids. Also, I challenge you to find a sub-$30 IEM with a larger soundstage. For $30 I don't think you can go wrong. They are completely unusable now.
