I went through a few cheap desertcart shields, to get the height and style right before I invested in a higher end shield. I’m 6’0” and this one is perfect for me. I can see over it, like it’s not even there. I have no buffeting whatsoever, and all wind is diverted around me or over my head. The design outperforms even taller shields I’ve tried. And it also looks bada$$. Everything lined up perfectly, for the Reckless fairing I ordered the 96-2013 fitment. Reckless offers this shield as an option to the silly one that comes with the fairing, but I didn’t select it so I had to figure it all out on my own. I guess they know what they’re doing. Thought the 11 inch would be to tall.. I am only 5'6" but my bike sits low so the top of the windshield is right at my eye level... the new fairing and windshield makes my cruiser look so much different and better looking.
