Overall good product, weak suctions
Pros: not broken, as advertised, cheap price, came in quick. Lights up a 10 gallon tank well! A lot of colors to pick from, looks really nice in the dark Cons: the suction power is very very weak but maybe its just my faulty ones. White light looks bright and good but the color lights are a little weaker than expected. I have LED strip lights all over in my room and the remote for this product messes up all the lights in my room.(if I turn it off, or change the color, the same happens to all the lights in my room) Its annoying but I guess its not the products fault, the remotes just work similarly. So keep that in mind. Overall worth the money, just several small cons

Great, but needs better instructions *read review
After about an hour of trying multiple outlets, installing and uninstalling the light twice and going crazy with an intermittent working remote I realized the problem. The instructions sucked! You have the light and the attached wire. That wire goes down & plugs into a box. On that box is a second 3" extra wire with what looked like a tiny electronic plug? Then the large wire continues down to the large plug for the outlet. Nowhere on the paper instructions does it say that the 3" wire is actualy the sensor for the remote. Most people have the wire going out the back of the aquarium and the entire plug is kept hidden. Simply, just point the darn remote at the 3" extra wire! I was so frustrated, lol. But now everything works fine and the light selection is beautiful. Hope this saves someone else's sanity

Awesome product for the price, however no response from their "costumer care".
What an upgrade from the stock lighting in my 10 Gallon fish tank. I converted the lid to work with these LED lights. Bought two of the 7.5" lights, and they fight perfect. Drilled holes in the existing vent holes on the lid to mount the brackets with bolts vs the suction cups they came with. Lighting is perfect, both lights work with one remote. And I love the fact that you can dim the LEDs and change the color to match your mood/season. My fish did not care for the Flash, Strobe, Fade, or blink function. But then again neither would I if my sun had rapidly changing light. Only downside, is one of the power blocks had a hole in it out of the box. The light still works, but given this light is made for a wet location I was concerned about water possibly getting in there. Emailed the seller/manufacturer, and have had no response. Very disappointing. I wouldve given a five star review if they would have responded to my concern in a timely fashion as it's been over 48 hours since I sent them the email. Update 05/23: still no response from the manufacturer yet they sent me an email the other day to review their product. Once I sent them the same info via my personal email, they responded right away to send a replacement. Contact the seller via amazon if you have any issues, not the contact info sent with the product.

Great, Cheap Aquarium Light
TL;DR: Great, cheap light with suction cups. I have the Top Fin Bettaflo aquarium for my baby boy, and the lights and filter both died out within a month. The tank’s lid is really frustrating, so this was the best decently-priced lighting with suction cups that could fit on the inside of the lid. The lights are really thick and round instead of thinner and flatter, but it’s a small price to pay for decent lighting on a budget. Part of it does stick into the top of the tank water due to its size though, so I’m glad it’s submersible. They’re pretty bright lights, and I love that you can change the colors. One of the light blue settings looks beautiful at night. You can even have a little fish disco/rave with the flash/fade/smooth options on the remote. My old tank had this really pretty soft white light that made my betta shine in photos. This light has more of a blue white light, which isn’t the best for closeups (but that’s a dumb personal preference of mine, and it may only be due to having the darkest fish ever).

Excellent
Lights up very well. I thought it was gonna be too small. My tank is 36" wide. The light was 21'-22". The light gives plenty of light!

Perfect, great price, and love the bells and whistles!
I was upgrading my betta and his little snail friend from his 3 gal betta setup to a little 7.5 gal bow-front tank we had stashed in the attic. Aquarium, check; lid, check...lights and filter...no, and no. I wanted to make this all as inexpensive of an affair as reasonable, and just couldn't justify the $35+ lighting options at stores locally. Fortunatly, I found this little gem of a light on Amazon. It's easy, it fits, it seems durable and secure, and it was NOT EXPENSIVE!!!! As a cool little bonus, I can play with the lighting a lot, depending on what I or my little aquatic residents want or need. If I'm migraine-y and the "regular" lighting on my little beside aquarium seems too bold when I'm trying to hide from the world, I can soften and dim it, and switch it to a gentler hue, so my eyes get a break, but my fishies (the betta and snail now hves a few tetra friends that they get along nicely with) get their proper lighting. At night, I switch it off with the flick of a remote, and back on as easily in the morning before my feet hit the floor. We might get them in on the Christmas spirit and put it all in green on Christmas Day. I love it! I will say that I'm not sure how they'd like the flashing setting, so I'll spare them that, but I do think that the variety of lighting options are handy. I also noticed that you sell replacement remotes-- wonderful! I'm strongly considering buying some proactively, because my 4-year-old son loves my fishtank and related stuff WAY too much, and tends to go by the mantra of "what's yours is ours," meaning that I don't trust the remote to stay on my bedstand and out of his little hands, which are known to take things to all sorts of unpredictable places (I must track down the little net, while I'm thinking about it). Anyway, great product, great price, and I'm REALLY happy with it and how handy it is.

Cool light, pathetic remote
I bought a 15" light for my 36-gallon tall freshwater tank and mounted it just under the surface of the water, on the backside of the tank, to shine down into the aquarium. This has been a great light to supplement my LED hood light but I wouldn't want it as my only tank light. The white color isn't very bright and doesn't provide enough light for daytime settings by itself. Perhaps it would be OK if you had two of them. I do like the extra white light that this provides during the day and especially like the dark blue for nighttime light. My hood light has blue LEDs but they require throwing a physical switch so I have my hood light on a timer and leave this LED strip on all the time. When the hood light goes out, I leave the tank on the dimmer white light of this fixture for a short period and then manually switch it to blue for the overnight. The dimmer feature is great and allows me to dim the nightlight down before I go to bed to give the fish some darker tank time. The other colors are fun to play with but I think the color-changing and strobe features are a bit much for the fish to handle so they don't get used. My only complaint with this light is the remote control. It is cheaply made and the facing is peeling away from the plastic housing after only a week of occasional use (see pic). It also won't work if you're more than four feet away from the sensor. Make sure you put the sensor (attached to the power cord) somewhere outside of your aquarium enclosure so that the IR signal can communicate from the remote to the sensor. If it's buried inside your aquarium cabinet, you will have to open the cabinet to control the light. Overall, worth the price but I won't be surprised if this remote quits working before long. If it does, I will update this review
