Item did not disappoint with getting rid of insects, highly recommend to use to get rid of insects

First off I didn't have any cap related issues. I do like the size of the opening as I dip a teaspoon inside to measure it out. It does smell, oh well. It works and a little goes a long way. I've just had the worst aphid and spider mite infestation I have ever seen. Gallons of seven dust used to no avail. Ordered a bottle of sunflower something or another that didn't work for forty dollars. This, this worked. It halted the spread and started reigning it back in. My pepper plants have a long road to recovery but this did the trick. It was so bad they were going to be chopped down if this didn't do something. This is great stuff and the best bargain for the money spent.

Have intense mosquito problem in summer months. Also have a pollinator garden. Malathion kills everything so the trick is to spray selectively and combine spraying with wearing OFF or a similar product when outdoors. Malathion also breaks down rapidly so one needs to spray every couple of weeks. It stinks but only for a few hours, The stink is good because it allows one to avoid being downwind and to know if the pressurized sprayer is leaking, A small bottle of malathion and a gallon spray container can really make a dent in the mosquito problem (or other insect problem) but one has to think of the consequences of spraying indiscriminately vs what one wants to achieve before one sprays. .

Effective against garden pests

Malathion still is the best go-to regarding fleas and especially mosquitoes. This is one of the most harsh insecticides on the market because is kills everything, so you need to be really smart about where to use it responsibly. Do not use it on stuff other than grass and really resilient shrubs, or else you'll be sorry. That said, it is one of few insecticides that really will stop chiggers, fleas, and mosquitoes. Being a contact insecticide, use it at dusk so that it will last longer in effectiveness. Sunlight and water will quickly degrade it. For heavens sake, use rubber gloves when working with it since it is really toxic. All of this being said, it is super effective in knocking down disease-causing mosquitoes, and it quickly degrades in the environment into being inert. Do not get it on your skin. This is a great product, but PLEASE follow the instructions, or else you'll get it banned for all of us.

Great way to keep mosquitoes away just put in a spray bottle and spray around the edge of your house or tree line if your next to the woods like me keeps all bugs and spiders away and cats hate the smell so it help my plants also.

This seems to be working for what I want. I have a problem with root weevils and as long as I use this according to directions.and apply it just before dark, it seems to be controlling them. I don't know of anything that will actually get rid of them for good. Easy to use in a hose end sprayer.

Overall I like Ortho products however for a product labeled MAX was not that impressed
