White MountainPuzzles Cereal Boxes - 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle

Great collage puzzle, and easy enough to assemble in a couple of hours with some friends. The bright colors and different fonts on the cereal boxes make it quick to get big blocks put together right away, but the last 100 pieces will still provide plenty of challenge (all those brown cereals look pretty similar). This is a good puzzle for kids as well, since they are likely familiar with many of these brands.I only buy White Mountain jigsaw puzzles, because the quality is superior. Edges are always obvious, sturdy pieces are cut sharp and clean, colors are bright. Pieces fit together perfectly and snugly, I can practically lift the whole thing up in one piece---definitely suitable for framing!

This is our family's fourth White Mountain puzzle and I have yet to be disappointed in this company. The cereal boxes make for a lot of visual interest and the quality is great (sturdy pieces, no rough edges/cuts, true-to-picture color). I find this type of picture to be really good for different ages and skill sets to work on together. My tween was able to provide some real help, my grade schooler was able to complete a cereal box at a time and so didn't get bored, and the grown-ups could share their memories of the old school cereal. Good stuff.

Cool design with the right amount of challenge. The product photo is not accurate. The design and cereal boxes are very similar to the ones shown in the product photograph, but the layout and boxes are different. The actual puzzle is more difficult than the one pictured, as there are more boxes with similar colors and fonts than in the photograph. Still, it was good fun for the family over the holidays.

I love me a good puzzle--my requirements are simple: well-made pieces that interlock neatly and an interesting pattern or picture that can be seen without turning on the floodlights and breaking out the magnifying glass. This puzzle from White Mountain hit the nail on the head--the images are great fun (old 60s era cereal boxes) and the colors are bright and clear making it a relaxing puzzle to fit together when binge-watching some crappy British mystery series (which is how I like to do my puzzle time).Loved it so much I went and bought another White Mountain vintage collage puzzle immediately upon completion!

The puzzle that we received had a completely different collage of cereal boxes as the cover picture. To add to it, the puzzle pieces had faded and/or cropped image of the picture on the cover. Overall a huge disappointment since we enjoy puzzles greatly. The pieces are sturdy and that's the only positive aspect. Not recommended.

There are different versions of this puzzle. Take a look at the picture I posted, it includes the puzzle I finished as well as the current Amazon picture of the puzzle. The top left corner of mine is Twinkles, whereas the same corner on Amazon is Sugar Crisp. The different versions have some cereal boxes in common (in different locations) and some different cereal boxes. My copy did not have Golden Grahams. And mine had Cocoa Krispies instead of Cocoa Puffs. Even among the same version, there are differences. One reviewer who had the same picture as I did had a blue backing on it whereas mine was a regular cardboard backing.I typically prefer to do photo puzzles, but I enjoyed this one. The pieces fit together very well. The picture was very clear. There was color variation, so for instance, the yellows weren't all the same shade (a problem with some non-photo puzzles). You could identify a snippet in a piece and then locate it on the box. I did not have any pieces where I asked, "does this go here?!" The puzzle went together fairly quickly.

Love these puzzles, the pieces aren't flimsy. Tip: I pick up the card board sheets that cases of water bottles come on at the warehouse club (for free). They make great bases for the puzzles and you can cover them with another sheet in between working on it, so the cat doesn't walk on it.

We had a blast doing this puzzle over Christmas - it was a great multi-generational activity that didn't involve technology! However.... and the reason for 4 stars and not 5 - We were really sad that there were 3 pieces missing at the end! We scoured the room and can't imagine that we would have lost them ourselves - bummer! My family does a puzzle every Christmas and when finished I glue it to a sheet of wrapping paper and hang in my garage to remember the fun all year long. Cheap art! ha! We have done a few others with a similar theme!

Nostalgic! Bought it for my puzzle loving husband. I always tease him about his love of sugary cereals... this couldn't have more perfect!

Thicker pieces than normal puzzles, which is a plus. The price is right. If you like jigsaw puzzles; then this is a good one.
