Great for getting into small spaces.
I restore antique machines, and there's often need for clearing out slots, or holes, or filing burrs off edges. Many times within a small area, hard to get at otherwise. These tiny files will fit into almost any size hole or slot, and they work pretty well for clearing out the debris, left behind. They work well for deburring screws, too, & clearing out the slots on old screws. The tiny file ridges can get clogged easy, when dealing with crud, but a toothbrush works wonders to clean them out. This was my second set. I had one set already, but Hubby kept borrowing them, so I bought a second set. Glad I did. They get used plenty. The nice variety of shapes is helpful too, though I mostly use the half round one. It's great for just about any small job. These are about the size of a pencil, so don't imagine they're big ol files. They're pretty small, but that's what I need.

Works well
I bought these files because of a really sharp broken prong in my ring. No jeweler experience I used all the different shape files they give you and ended up just rounding the prongs down. It worked well

Handy diy-er tools
I needed to get into a tight spot between the bottom of my inside front door and the floor threshold. The previous occupant had attempted to fill the space with a soft silicone caulking material that was uneven and blotchy, so I decided to even it out across the bottom of the door and then repaint the lower third. These are little metal files and were of good quality making for a comfortable accessing of the tiny space that I first had to open the door to access, and the ease of installation allowed me to, with accuracy, close the door on the small file as it remained between the door and threshold to file it back and forth until the excess caulk was removed. The look was then even and the lines of bottom of door and threshold accurate. Then I attached a door sweep on the door after painting the lower third. The renovation was now complete and the little files played a crucial role.

Arrived with broken tip
One arrived with a broken tip, others have a curved/warped end. Maybe other people haven't noticed this because they don't do as small of work as I do... But I carve more detail into resin BJDs; the last 2 images show something I'm currently working on - the last image showing the doll before any carving and the previous showing work done with [mostly] some second hand files. I know these are cheaper files and despite using them to carve rather soft resin, I didn't expect them to last very long... but I feel like they should at leave arrive intact. Despite them arriving in less than satisfactory condition - they're nice, sharp files that get the job done. Just REALLY wish my main one wasn't broken!

Nice files with soft grip handles
Super inexpensive and feel good in hand with soft rubber grip. I use them for 3D printer touch ups and they are more than adequate for plastic fixes.

Well made and durable
Well made and durable. . Files are stiff and filing surface grips and files plastic and wooden materials very well. . Files come in various shapes. Choose the one that works best for you to get into small corners or make various filing cuts, e.g. triangular, straight, and etc. . The handle is bulbous for easy grabbing and handling. Handles are also non-slip. BUT remember that these are mini files. If you have large hands or fingers, you may find these files too dainty. I have medium to average sized hands and I had no trouble using with my fingers. . Cleanup is easy. I just used a wet rag to wipe clean and a dry rag to dry off. Recommend applying a tiny bit of oil once in awhile to prevent rusting.

This tiny file set has been great for taking the sharp edge off thick acetate sheets for print making. This stops the paper from being damaged when the print goes through the press. Just what I was looking for!

Good size and good price. Not very strong and prone to bending if you put force to it.
