New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (Without Translators' Notes) - Kindle edition by The Lockman Foundation, The Lockman Foundation. Download it once and read it on your Kindle device, PC, phones or tablets. Use features like bookmarks, note taking and highlighting while reading New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (Without Translators' Notes). Review: easy to read through - The NASB is a literal translation keeping close to the original Greek and Hebrew words. This readers version is easy for reading through entire books and is a great addition to versions that include chapters and verse headings. It’s also nice to be able to quickly select and look up word definitions using the app Review: I love it! Helps you keep things in context. - I love this Bible. Chapters have a marking but there are no verse markers. Books make more sense. The epistles are letters and should be read as such. They have so much more meaning without verses breaking them up... plus it helps you keep things in context. Verses taken out of context can be a real problem. The Readers Bible is my “go to” Word. If I need to know a verse number, I can use the Biblegateway app, but I don’t normally need a verse number. You know verses were added only a few hundred years ago, chapters a while before that.

Glad to find the NASB available this way
I am a big fan of paragraph format. Glad to find the NASB available this way. Reading without verse numbers really helps with my ability to read and understand with that artificial breaks affecting me. Now I just wish it was available this way in my Logos Bible software. I buy a good deal of kindle books. I really resent the limitations on how I can use what I have purchased. Kindle, Apple & Logos should really come together in the interest of their customer's needs. I should be able to make purchases in my amazon apps on my Ipad. I should be able to easily import my kindle books into logos library to benefit from the tools there. I buy content from all 3, but it feels like they are working against me. Would love to be able to combine my libraries!!!

Easy to Read.
I read this entire version of the Bible on my Kindle Fire. I was pleased to not find mistakes or at least no obvious ones. Last year I read another version of the Bible and it was not copied right to Kindle. It had several typos and mistakes. This one does not. This one does not have the notes so it is good for reading straight through. There is a version with the notes. I like to read different versions and this one was well done. The English flows easily and helps when reading long sections. The translators' took care when translating God's Word. Some passages come out clearer in this version because of the updated (1995) English. Hope this helps a little.

So glad I found this!
You might not think chapter and verse markers are annoying but just try reading it without and you'll see why I wanted this version. It's so much better! It reads the way a book should with way better flow. I read the bible to connect with God and the only use for little numbers everywhere you look is to reference the place you read to someone else, other than that, what's the point? Deleting all the annoying references and chapter and verse numbers will make reading your bible a much more enjoyable experience and you will read it longer because of that... the bible isn't a recipe book, you don't need the numbers!

nice for traveling.
This is my go to bible when traveling or need a quick reference away from home. Only wish is it could be switched to “dark”mode or shift the back ground color from bright white in the evening.

A good translation version keeps the original languages's features
A very good version. Easy to ready. The translation suits my need to compare/study the Greek Bible. It keeps the original languages' linguistic features but in the same time it is for today's readers. I would recommend it for anyone who is keen to learn the original languages or who wants to taste how the Bible was written originally. I chose the one without translator's notes as I already have too much information to read in a split screen and I would like to have a smooth reading experience. But I would say picking the translator's notes version has no harm.

Loved it!
I've always wanted to read the Bible from cover to cover. I was always afraid I wouldn't understand. My son recommended this version, and he was right. If you've never read the Bible before, I recommend this one. I learned soooo much. Praise Him.

This Bible is clear and easy to read. For me the Bible is the most important book ever written. l was only going to read it once but l have now read it 14 times

East to understand. Faithful to the Greek and Hebrew. I have read many translations and this is the I always come back to.

Wrapped with the concept which I had already started to use- to read the NT Bible texts as letters and arguments rather than the nebulous divisions of chapters and verses. A profound difference.

Als Christ ist es ein muss, diese Bibel immer bei sich zu haben. Da ich ein Kindle Fire user bin, und wir diese Version der Bibel in der Kirche benutzen, war ich froh sie gefunden und downgeloaded zu haben.
