These were a HUGE hit at my 3 year old's birthday party, for both the big kids and the little kids. The older kids (ages 7-11) had a great time designing masks both for themselves and the smaller kids (ages 2-4). The masks come separate from the elastic bands, which makes it much easier to color the masks in, and the bands are easy to attach and stay on pretty securely. The elastics are also a much better quality than I expected: rather than the skinny fragile elastics that you would see on (for example) little paper birthday hats, these bands are a bit thicker, more like a hair elastic. As other reviewers have mentioned, the bands are a bit long, but with the application of 2 or 3 braincells, we figured out how to tied a knot in the back to fit smaller heads. Most impressive was the way the masks held color. The kids colored them with washable markers (nothing special-- the same brand we all send to school with our kids) and the ink went on smoothly and didn't smudge at all. I think even the kids were impressed by how good their own creations turned out. My 3 year old loves the one her older sister made her so much that she won't take it off, which is a testament to both how cute it is, and how comfortable it is for her to wear. This is a really good product for the price.

Great craft for a super hero themed birthday party!! The kids ( ages 3-7) all really enjoyed decorating & then wearing these! Took off one star only because the straps are a little flimsy & had to play around / double knot them to stay on better

I bought these for my students. They loved coloring them and wearing them around school. I liked that the elastic straps have a metal tips, so I didn't need to tie them onto the masks. A few masks did tear after a long day of wearing them, but they are only paper, so I guess it's expected at some point. I'll buy them again for my class next year.

These masks are so much fun! I bought them for my son's 6th birthday party and all the kids absolutely loved coloring them and they wore them for the duration of the party. Totally worth the money and even though they are thick card stock-like, they hold up really well and the elastic strings are great.

These were fantastic for a kids superhero themed birthday party! The masks came in the three pictured designs, which is great for small kids because some of them will always want the same one that someone else has. The paper was very sturdy, and all the masks made it through the party, including a water spill, intact. The other part of the design that I really loved was that the holes for the strings were pre-cut out. I was honestly dreading having to use the strings, but not only were the holes cut out, the strings all had metal tips at the end, that went into a T shape, to hold the string to the mask. This idea is GENIUS! Every mask was strung within a minute, and the kids were able to wear them happily.

Cute idea but crayons won't color on it and that's all I had bought for the party. Hard to color on

Bought these for a batman birthday party...the kids had a great time coloring them. They used ultra washable crayola markers on them. I gave four stars because I would have preferred for there to be a metal stopper on the elastic band and for the bands to be already attached.
