Remington Shine Therapy Hair Dryer and Hair Straightener

I've used GHD wide-plates on my thick, naturally curly and now salt & pepper (so typically courser) hair on and off since they came out. I was dubious about these, despite the rave reviews, but thought I'd nothing to lose so ordered some. Boy, am I delighted I did! They're fantastic, I'd go so far as to say better than my ageing GHDs. They glide through my hair, so smoothly. I'm still experimenting with getting the lowest (adjustable) heat setting to do the job, but either way, they still do an amazing job at a much lower fixed temp than the GHDs. Obviously tye cooler they can be, whilst still being effective, the less damage they'll do - big consideration for me as despite using heat protection spray, this level of heat yellows the white in my hair, so I'm conscious of that. Honestly, especially at this price point, I'm genuinely thrilled!

Best straighteners I’ve ever purchased, better than my ghd’s, I have very frizzy hair with slight natural wave, gets my hair poker straight & so soft & shiny, even the price was excellent, so glad I purchased them, the only negative is that they do take a little while to get to temperature but I can live with that.

My ghds finally died after about 8 years and I couldn't afford the £300 to replace them so I decided on these because of the affordability, argan infused plates and the ratings.I'm really pleased with them. They are a little wider than the skinny ghds so it's taking me a minute to get used to feel of them but they glide through my hair beautifully (the ghds used to sometimes stick a bit), they create beautiful curls that really hold and they heat up super fast and I love that you don't need them to be really hot to create the waves or lovely straight hair.I definitely recommend them

I got these based on all the good reviews. They do heat up quick, come with a 5 year guarantee that can be extended to 6! They turn off after 60 mins, always a saving grace when forgetful like me !! I can also curl my hair with them ! For me though the plates are abit to far apart at the bottom i have fine hair so I need to really firmly press them together, perhaps they will loosen up over time ......

I have used many straighteners but this one is the best of them all. Its straightens hair in one go. Heating is super good for thick dark hairs. Heats up in seconds and leaves hair shiny. I have not seen any hair damage yet but it also depends on hair type. Overall it is a reliable product.
