Good idea but geez
This is very sturdy and a good idea but the choice of screws that came from the manufacturer plus the depth through the side you need to sink said screws- yikes. The screws are impossible. Use different ones. Difficult to install and practically impossible to remove.

Quality Product!
Top-notch quality! We live on the third floor and now I feel SO much better having my daughter look out the window from her stool. I have ordered one for each of our living room windows.

I feel better with these up
I installed these to keep my wild boys from flipping themselves out of upstairs windows. They're great for that! I didn't;t like the screws (super difficult to work with. my dad explained to me that that is by design so crooks can't easily unscrew and take them down) so I replaced them with regular Philips heads. As I said, I just wanted these bars to keep kids in rather than bad guys out. Very happy with these!!

sturdy security
great security bar. Haven't been able to install it yet, but you can see the benefit without it installed. sturdy and well made. Don't need to worry about a weld breaking. Versatile as well.
