Ok but paint isn't
They work. However, they are easy to scratch.

They look like window locks...
The are stamped metal that bends easily. They would fail if these were used in a light security situation. The metal. Can be bent by hand. The lock unlock operation is smooth and the paint finish is good. I promise you, these are flimsy and offer no security, but they will keep.the window closed.
