The slide to start bar is fickle. It doesn't start when you put in the cards. You have to try to start it multiple times before it works. When it finally starts the card, it is good, in fact a great of concept, but it acts like it is broken. This is how it arrived, and it wasn't damaged. The batteries are not the issue, it simply doesn't work right. I bought it as a gift, by the time I knew it didn't function, it was too late to return it.

My son loves it and I feel like he’s really learning a lot. Definitely easy to use (my son is 3) and I like that the cards are a thicker material so you don’t have to worry about them ripping. One thing I would have liked, would to have a travel or storage case for both the cards and the tablet so they stay together. And it would be nice if there was a headphone option. Would be a great airplane or car trip toy but it can be a little loud and annoying.
