How hard/soft are these? Are they as hard as the steadtler or softer?

I can't compare them to the Steadtler. I recall them being medium soft / hard. Ideal for school work but anything serious and of quality I use Sakura Color Eraser. They are INCREDIBLE

They haven't smudged anything for us. These are what I remember as the proper rubbers/erasers and definitely something I'd buy again!
