The Science of the Sacraments (Classic Reprint) Paperback – August 7, 2012

Extraordinary book. A little laborious reading but worth it. Everyone should know about this book. I had an extraordinary experience in a mass once, (I'm not Catholic, but I like to go to mass because of the beautiful and healing energy there) I shared my experience with a woman and she told me about this book. I hope I have the opportunity to tell a lot of people about this book.

Wish that the pages were darker. They seem like light copies and some are not quite readable. What I can see is priceless,however.

This book opened my eyes. I now have a greater understanding of the ritual of the mass

The scanned version is a poor substitute for the original. I went back and bought and old copy of the original.

A classic by the late great C.W. Leadbeater. A must for anyone who is a part of the Independent Sacramental Movement.

Great read. Makes you really think.

This book I have now read many times and on each occasion I have learned something new concerning the Rituals and symbolism(s) of The Liberal Catholic Church. One thing for sure is the Church is a forward progressing Church and does not dictate to all and sundry how many times one has to attend Church for Marriage or when seeking the baptism of a child or adult. This Church was first to treat divorced persons with respect and permitted each partner to remarry if the marriage was undertaken with reverence and respect. There is no doctrine or dogma as such and all are treated with respect, this comes across in the pages of the book with no holds barred. For any priest or celebrant wishing to study in detail the meanings and how the Holy Eucharist / Communion / Mass / Supper is undertaken by the Priest at the Altar this book certainly explains in simple terms how to undertake same. There is so much detail and information from page one to the last page that I certainly recommend the book to all from priests to Celebrants and many who wish to look for understanding in how a forward looking church can still hold the most sincere and genuine Services together to involve all who enter their Churches. Most highly recommended and a thought provoking book for all irrespective of what denomination one may belong to.

The book was quickly found using key words. I was given a choice of new or used and also soft or hard back covers. The price was too very reasonable compared to high street shops. The only set back was the time it took for me to receive the two books I purchased, but I am very happy with my books .

Very interesting reading for anyone wanting to know about the high unseen worlds and how they actually work in Roman Catholic ceremonies.

Beyond words and dogma, this raises our understanding of the dry words and dogma considerably. You would have to be fairly enlightened to seek out and find a book like this, so I don't expect the religious community to do so. Many suspect that these ceremonies must have some power, but without a guide we are quite lost. This is not really a complete manual but there are many instructions on how to make use of energies available to us. Will take some reading before I can begin to make much sense of it.
