This dress was perfect for my daughter to wear as her formal dress for a Christmas parade she was in. It is beautifully made and the size 8 fit her perfectly. My daughter is 4'6" and weighs 73 pounds. We got a ton of compliments on this dress. I would have liked it to be a touch longer for wearing with a petticoat, but overall we are very happy with the design, style, and quality.

What a gorgeous dress!! I cannot say enough about this dress! I was speechless when my daughter put it on, and it takes a bit to take my breath away. It fit perfectly and is so beautiful! This dress feels like a wedding gown. Where do I even begin? The details of this dress are intricate and so beautifully made. The back has an opening that is very feminine and classy. The bows in the back lie so delicately and are placed elegantly down the back. The details of this dress are gorgeous- can I say that enough?! Now for the sizing: My daughter is almost 10 years old and usually wears a size 7 is most brands. I was planning on purchasing the size 8 to give her some room, but read the reviews and also read the seller’s recommendation of using their size chart as opposed to Amazon’s. I did just that and measured her as the chart indicated. With the measurements I got from measuring my daughter, I followed the chart and purchased one size smaller than her regular size. I was nervous because her Father-Daughter dance is just a few days away, which wouldn’t allow me time to re-purchase the gown if it was the wrong size, or get it altered. We received it today, two days later- incredibly fast- and the gown arrived inside out and neatly folded, to protect from damage during shipping. As soon as I picked it up, I could tell that this was a well-made dress. It is heavy like a high-quality gown and has beautiful lace with a sheer bottom. When my daughter put it on, it fit like a glove. I am so happy I took the time to measure her and chose the size based on the chart. Had I gone with her regular size, should would have been swimming in it. Having the right size makes this dress fit her perfectly all around. I do not sew and rarely measure for clothing, so I wasn’t even sure if I was measuring correctly. The guide that the seller provided is excellent and I highly recommend following those instructions. I do recommend purchasing a hoop skirt to go under if you want it to puff out. I purchased a three hoop one and it makes the dress easier to walk in and also lifts it so not so much of the dress drags. In fact, only about an inch toward the back drags a bit. My daughter looks like a cake topper with the three hoop skirt and I love it. If that is the look you’re going for, than definitely get a hoop skirt. I highly recommend this dress! It is well worth every penny! I am already thinking of where she can wear it next. Christmas? New Years? So beautiful to only wear once! Buy this dress! Happy shopping!

This dress is so beautiful, it gave the bride, and the bridesmaids a run for their money!! It’s made so well, the zipper was easy. It worked so well for the flower girl. She was so comfortable in it, there was no issue with wrinkles and she didn’t want to take it off. If I could get this exact dress in an adult size I would. Hint! ❤️

I was a little skeptical at first since it’s Amazon, but this dress is stunning! It’s very thick and great material, has a soft inner lining so it doesn’t itch underneath, has beautiful thick lace stitching and patterns, had no issues with the “jewels” attached falling off, it’s perfect, and I took a long time searching and a lot of returns to find the perfect dress! For reference, my daughter is a petite 6 year old, and I ordered her a size 4 dress, which fit perfect! But no extra room for growth, but that’s fine because I wanted it fitted. Her measurements were 22.5 chest and 22 waist. The size 4 dress was 23/22. So it was not tight given the dress measurements were the same as my daughters measurements, it was perfectly fitted. *** SIDE NOTE *** The dress was a little long, and my daughter is 42 inches tall, so I had the dress altered in terms of length. You’re not able to hem the dress without ruining the lace at the bottom, but luckily, there’s a “belt” across the waist of the dress and my seamstress was able to “lift” the dress by lifting and sewing it under the belt on the front of the dress, while keeping the trail of the dress intact. I had 2 inches “lifted” in the front. I also had my seamstress remove the additional two bows on the back of the dress on the train, I preferred one bow, and no issues removing them! Also, the dress my daughter is wearing is the Ivory color. Be mindful of this color, it is on the whiter side of Ivory. I thought I was given white, until I put it next to a pure white dress, then I was able to see the slight difference. So the Ivory is practically white, FYI! Buy the dress!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I rated this dress 4 stars because the color didn't really look like the photo. My daughter loved the dress and she looked beautiful in it. The dress was full enough as to not need a hoop skirt underneath.
