Straightforward blade
You get more than what you paid for, the knife is made very respectful with its price point. I have used it for light wood working and still maintains a good edge for cardboard and such. Can't really go wrong.

Just buy it
It’s $10. Made in Japan. The knives have been made like this for ages. It’s pretty sharp. It’s fun to use. Over time it seems that the blade release will loosen up a bit. I have a ton of knives both cheap and pricey, but I’m happy to have this one around… and for $10? Buy 4.

Good Higo no Kami
I've purchased several higos over the years and this one is very good compared to the rest. It came a little tight, but that is easy to adjust with a bench vise by squeeze the handle and checking the tightness of the blade. The bevels were ground relatively even (which is uncommon) and the handle had mostly rounded over edges. I use these knives as resharpenable utility knives and there is no better cost per performance. This higo I'm using for gardening and and you'd be surprised how well this will cut through green wood.

Awesome product
Good pocket knife for the price it’s nothing fancy. Also it’s the same size as a buck 110.

Simple and effective
It's simple, inexpensive, and holds a nice edge. It came sharp but I stropped it and It's now like having a durable razor.

this is a real Japanese Higonokami knife
if someone is looking for very useful stainless steal knife, don't buy Higonokami. Higonokami is more than 100 years of history in Japan as utility small pocket knife. Made of high carbon steel. very sharp but high maintenance to avid rusting. I love it.

Could be sharper
Real or knockoff great for the price either way but I do think it could be sharper. Would definitely buy again. Arrived a day late.

Great Knife at a great price
Classic designed, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it mentally. Only thing is it needs a little WD-40 when opened as it is a little stiff out of the box but then it’s good to go. Can’t beat the price and quality. It just works.
