Workbook to Accompany Understanding Anatomy and Physiology: A Visual, Auditory, Interactive Approach

Love this work book! I have taken anatomy 4 times over my nursing school path and have never had to use a workbook/activity book. I thought that it was honestly going to be boring and kind of childish, but I was 100% wrong. The crossword puzzles, labeling and fill in the blanks stuck with me more than the power points my teachers were giving us. It goes along with the textbook word for word which made memorizing very easy. I also appreciated the fact that they had an answer key in the back to double check my answers. I would recommend this to any high school or college student taking anatomy, even if it is not required for your course.

I have a background in the performing arts and was terrified of changing my career path toward Occupational Therapy after not being in school for ten years, mainly because of the dense science courses. I bought this book and worked through it over the summer before starting Anatomy and Physiology I and II prerequisites the following year. I was so pleased with this-- I needed a watered down, interesting version before starting back up and diving into the dense text my class required. I am a visual, sensory learner and this book helped me greatly. I got A's in the Prerequisites--master's degree here I come!
