I recently started using this after shaving my head and reading a variety of reviews on Amazon to see which aftershave lotion would work best for my scalp. When I first applied this lotion, the smell was very strong! I was very self-conscious for a few hours as I work in customer service, oftentimes in very close proximity with other people. As a few other people have mentioned, it has a strong, "medicinal" type smell...if you're not careful with your application. I wanted to give this product a few more tries before returning it, and boy am I glad I did! The secret to using this product effectively is making sure to use the PROPER amount! I use a very small amount of lotion (about the size of a dime) and the smell is a lot more tolerable and pleasant as a result. Just make sure to use it about an hour or two before you have to be in public if you're extra worried about offending those around you with the smell. Other than the odor, the lotion works as advertised. I have seen a significant reduction in skin irritation, bumps, dryness, and dandruff. It's reasonably priced, which is also a nice bonus. Well worth trying - just be careful how much you dab on your head!

I purchased this to clean my bald head before shaving. It leaves my head feeling very clean and fresh. I use this before I shave my head. It seems to help soften up the hairs as well as opening my pores for a closer shave. I love the smell and how it has a cooling refreshing feel from the menthol. I use this almost every day, but especially before I shave my head. It's become part of my pre shave routine.

This stuff works great! Ive tried everything from shave creams to conditioners. Very very close and smooth shave. Refreshing minty smell 😍 theres so may choices but I went this one mainly because its affordability and other high mark reviews. Wish I could buy a 32oz tub of it!

This product does a fine job of moisturizing your scalp and leaving it with a comfy, smooth feeling. However, I find the aroma off-putting - it kind of has undertones reminiscent of ejaculate. Furthermore, the product is runny, so the tube it comes in is not ideal as it is very easy to squeeze too much out.
