One day I was very thirsty and purchased a soda from the soda machine at work. Much to my frustration, I could not get it open. That was the day I came home and purchased these. It works like a charm!! I keep it in my work bag so I won’t run into the same frustration again. I have used it several times and it works well. I have the large one for home as well. Have used it a couple of times on jars when my hand just could not seem to get them open. They work great.

My fiance has RA and has a very difficult time opening the simplest of things. This tool has helped him get his independence back. I just wish there was a part of these tools that helped assist get the safety bottles open, like pesto and nyquil..

If you are like me and you have or you’re developing arthritis or you just get angry when you can’t open a jar or bottle, this set is for you!I have a certain type of vitamin water that I like but I’ve never had a bottle that was so incredibly hard to open! My fingers hurt so bad after I open one that often I just don’t! Or if I have too much trouble I just put it back in the fridge. I’ve tried just about everything to make it easier.This is great and saves my hands. If I had to put a 1-10 number on it, without this tool the pain on my hands was around 7-8. But with this, I’d say it’s down to 1 or 2!If I had one observation, it would be the absence of a can opening point. And I’ve found 1 or 2 jars that this didn’t open wide enough to open but it would be even bigger than it is if it accommodated every bottle or jar.For the price, this is awesome and was worth it to save my fingers. Now I’m going to get a bottle of water!

I suffer from tendinitis and carpal tunnel (one on my left, the other on my right). Needless to say, this has made daily life a bit difficult. It finally reached the point where I had to force myself to buy these handy devices. I have small hands and it did take some getting used to. The best tool out of the two is the jar opener. It made opening jars super easy and I almost couldn't believe my eyes!The other tool that's intended for bottles and opening other sealed items was really difficult to use, but there could also be a learning curve. I tried using it to open sodas and vienna sausage containers, but it made it more difficult - if you can believe that!Overall, it was worth it for the jar opener alone, especially at such an affordable price point. (I mean, seriously!! I paid less than $7 for this)

I used to use a gripper pad that was an exercise in frustration. This does the trick every time, even on Aldi jars that are seemingly sealed by German bodybuilders. I’m grateful many times a week that I bought it.

I failed to actually look at the measurements of this. The first jar I tried to open, a pickle jar, the lid was too big. The second jar was a mayo jar, lid too big. Next jar the lid was too big. Good grief! The largest opening on this dznt fit the average lid. Warning. Measure the lids on yr most used containers before buying this. It is sturdy and probably works well on small lids. Probably fine for bottle lids.

This is great! I live alone and don't have the best wrist strength. This made it so easy to open spaghetti sauce, etc. The smaller one is awesome for opening the plastic water/soda bottles. I had a small gathering (socially distant and wearing masks) where we played Dirty Santa and I brought this. It was a hit and everyone wanted it. Three of the people that missed out on it got the information from me and ordered themselves one while the game was still going on!

Helpful in opening certain kinds of bottle tops. Not sure how long it will last.

Manches pas assez longues pour permettre de bien serrer et forcer moins pour ouvrir les bouchants. Ma femme n'y arrive souvent pas, meme pour des petits bouchants. Aussi, il est limité à des tailles pas trop larges. Ne convient pas pour la pluparts des pots de masson et de cornichant commerciaux.

I do not recommend this item. On first look - it looks like good study material BUT when I tried to "pop" the lid of a sealed jar, it was not easy to do, in fact after several attempts, I went to a Plan B - not using this item. I also tried the other part that is supposed to help you actually twist the lid. It might work better on a much smaller jar lid but it didn't work on the one I tried - it wasn't a "wide-mouth" size lid - more of a standard size - it didn't work - hard to get around the lid.

Purchased for my 77 year old mother that is 90 pounds and everything is harder for her to open now so I purchased several jar and bottle openers that are electric but these ones she can take down to the seniors social room or when she visits relatives and not have to ask for help as she hate to ask for any assistance with anything. She loves them and they make a great gift for anyone but really great for seniors

The jar opener wouldn’t work well at all, in fact, when I tried using it for the first time it cracked in half. The plastic was too hard not easy to open nor adjust to the jar. Very disappointed. Poorly manufactured.I do not recommend buying it. I’m a retired Pastry chef as well. I don’t recommend ordering one.

Original was going to order one one for my Mom.Decided to add one for myself.Why force when you do not have to.This item is person for all agesEach to use and does not take up to much storage space.Bonus color matchs my other kitch utensils.
