Furinno FG181110-C Tioman Outdoor Backless Bench, Natural,1-Pack

I was looking for a bench to place between my shower and bathtub - most were a little on the large side. This one fit the bill perfectly with great build and wonder value for the money. It was super easy to assemble - high quality components. It is exactly what I needed without breaking the bank at some high-end furniture store. It certainly would work well outside - just don't expect to sit more than two people on it. As for comfort, it's a bench! I suppose one could place cushions on it to make it more luxurious. I am happy with my purchase.

I ordered this bench for my front porch. I always wanted to have a small bench there but wasn't able to find one with the right dimensions. This one fits perfectly. It's a very sturdy bench that is easily assembled. I did oil it right away though because the wood looked a bit dry to me and knowing it would be outside in the elements, I wanted to give it some protection right away. It's a nice, warm color and looks great as is or with a cushion. I recommend this product and might get another one for the backyard.

I needed a bench to put on my carport to use for setting tools or whatever while I opened the door to the utility shed. But I had a small space to put one and it needed to be suitable for outdoors as it could get rained on. This fit the bill. It was very easy to put together, the holes exactly fit the screws. This bench is perfect for me to sit on while I put the shoes I wear for yard work. Seems very sturdy. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a bench that doesn't take up much space. Update: I've had this bench nearly a year and it still looks good after being rained on and snowed on. I did have to tighten all the screws about a month ago as they somehow had loosened. Very pleased with this purchase.

Ordered the 39" slatted bench. It arrived quickly and I spent about 20 minutes putting it together. It's sturdy and looks great. Perfect size. I downgraded 1 star due to the fact that the underside brace was installed slightly crooked but I can live with it - also, installing the legs was a bit challenging due to the inside screw hole being so close to the edge of the bench there wasn't a lot of room to maneuver and the allen wrench didn't fit that well (I had to use one of my own) enough for a good grasp while putting the screws in. Other than that I'm happy with the purchase.

What a great little bench! Sturdy, solid wood, super easy to put together (take a few minutes). Such a good deal.

This bench arrived in perfect condition. There are 4 legs that attach at each corner with 2 screws and 2 washer for each leg. I didn’t require the instruction steps with diagram as it’s very obvious and simple task. I easily used my drill with the Allen wrench drill bit to attach each leg quickly (I have arthritis). It is sturdy and a great deal for only $50 on sale (holds 330lbs max weight). I did see a rather pathetic one star review where the buyer installed the legs inside the corners instead of outside the corners incorrectly which looked absolutely ridiculous. Highly recommend the bench for front porch entry, patio (plant stand) or even in a large shower. Excellent value.

Looks like good quality..I am 81 year old female and I have not tightened the bolts yet. But I was in awe at the way everything was made and ease with which the parts lined up. However..my muscles are getting weak and I even had some pain after working on the floor on my knees. I'm sure for anyone else it's a snap. Supplied allen wrench is all you need.

Update: I ordered three more of these - even with the problem I had with the first bench arriving broken since they are easy to assemble and the perfect size. All of them arrived damaged!!!!!! Its too bad, because this would be a 5-star review if virtually every item I have received has required me to hire a handyman to fix them. Customer service finally did contact me and said they couldn't do anything except return the entire item. They couldn't reimburse the cost of repair - but would pay to ship three very heavy benches back to them! I still love the bench, but this company has serious quality control issues if all benches are damaged in shipping. I'm surprised Amazon allows them to continue.... but then again, I love the bench in spite of everything. ---------------------------------- Original Review. The bench arrived with great packing. An outer Amazon box and then the original Furinno box - so it was not damaged in shipping. The bench had two cross-supports loose in the box. You can see in the photos, that they seem to have been glues at some point and it looks like they were forced from their original position by some tool that left a mark. Email to [email protected] link from their website has gone unanswered. I've checked junk mail every day to see if it ended up there, but nothing! I'll keep the bench since it is just what I need - and will pay my handyman to repair the bench. But there is no excuse for sending damaged furniture that someone had to know was damaged since they threw the two loose parts into the box. Too bad, since the bench is great and easy to assemble. Just be aware that quality control and customer service don't seem to be important to this company.
