Good product, cheapest online if you have a 1430

Does not bleed on Epson premium lustre paper. Color is quite close to exact.
Quite satisfied with the product. Unlike some other remanufactured inks I used before, this one has good color, and does not bleed, streak. I am printing on Epson premium lustre. Hard to tell it is different from Epson original but it is quite close. If one needs, could use this most of the time reserving Epson genuine for when exceptional color is required. A nice surprise.

Second purchase: ink is still fine
When my printer (Epson Artisan 1430) started running out of ink I looked around for replacements. Affordable ones, cheaper than the brand-name expensive ones. I found this item. The first thing I did was to read all the negative reviews to see what I might be getting myself into; there were some that said that these cartridges were no good. However, after reading some more positive reviews, I decided it would be worth the gamble, considering how cheap these are compared to the brand-name ones. Long story short: I've replaced two cartridges so far, and they work fine. The printer recognized them right away; they're not half-full, and though I have no way of gauging the color quality against the Epson inks, the prints look fine. So I think these are a pretty good deal. (The vendor might have somehow improved their product's quality since those negative reviews came in. I went back over those 1- and 2-star negative reviews, and it looks like almost all of them were from 3 or more years ago.) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Meanwhile, back at the ranch: I just got my 2nd order of these inks and used them. They're still as good as before, which is fine for my purposes. Keep in mind that I'm not making archival-quality giclée prints, so I can't vouch for their usage there. But the colors look fine on my prints.

4 cartridges read empty. 1 reads low.
I knew buying 3rd party remanufactured budget ink was a gamble but judging by the number of positive reviews I figured it may actually work out. Sadly it didn’t for me. Out of the package 4 of the 6 inserted cartridges (both magentas, yellow, cyan) read empty. Light Cyan read low. My guess is that the chips weren’t replaced or there was a problem with them. My Epson Stylus 1400 had no problem reading the chips. I will say there was obviously some amount of ink in the cartridges and I don’t doubt they were full. Unfortunately when one cartridge reads empty you’re unable to print at all so I can’t comment on the actual quality of the ink itself. I almost exchanged the ink cartridges to try again but ultimately decided to return them and go with a different brand. I’ve used 3rd party ink almost exclusively and I’ve experienced the same hit or miss quality with others so I know when they do work, they work great in most cases. That just wasn’t my experience this time.

Only half of the cartridges worked
Installed the cartridges in an Epson Artisan 1430 and four out of seven actually worked. The two black cartridges were not recognized even after cleaning as instructed multiple times. The magenta cartridge was not recognized, would not snap into place in the printer, and leaked all over. This might be a decent purchase if you want to gamble on getting a few cartridges replaced for cheap but you may end up needing to buy some individual cartridges of higher quality after installing these.

Work great!
Printer recognized the cartridges immediately. They all showed as being full. Colors were good. I don’t know how long they’ll last yet. For the money versus the genuine Epson cartridges they’re well worth it.

I’m so happy these inks are compatible for my printer. I’m using Epson Photo Paper. The prints are crisp and great colour saturation. Don’t know what the longevity of the prints will be. Only time will tell.

Colour are ok but printer will often refuse to recognize ink and I have to turn off printer and restart until it works. Not fun to use.

Only one cartridge was sealed and the other 6 were used and empty. RIP OFF!!!
