Seems like a lot of shinguards nowdays don’t have ankle protectors, and i was hesitant to buy some. After i bought these though, it was so easy for my son to put on and take off. It fit his leg well, it was comfortable. The velcro works really well, almost to a fault. It works so well, i feel it won’t be long before the strap gets frayed to bits because of how strong the velcro is.

These soccer shin guards fit my four-year-old perfectly! He has slightly wider calves, but they still provided great coverage and a comfortable fit. Excellent quality and perfect for little players who need both protection and comfort on the field.

I purchased this set of socks and shinguards for my child to wear in a recreational soccer league. This review incorporates kiddo's feedback after a few practices and games wearing the set. PROS: * Great, lightweight shinguards fit well under the socks and create a nice ensemble for a child. The shinguards are made of a light, formed plastic that avoids additional weight or bulk that feel uncomfortable for a player unused to wearing guards. * The stretchy bands holding the guards on create a snug fit that expands well. We didn't have to fuss with adjusting the guards during play. * Easy to wash! You know why this matters if your child plays in a bog, which is what we call our local field. * Comfy socks that fit snug and don't fall down during the game. DRAWBACKS: Sizing: Definitely consider sizing up slightly if you're on the cusp of one size or another. The socks are tall and narrow, so the extra stretch may be worth it for a growing child. Lightweight: Again, the shinguards are pretty lightweight so if you have a player who beats their stuff up or needs additional protection, you might want to consider a different model that's thicker/tougher.

Works well! Sizing is accurate. Velcro quality is subpar. My son never complained of uncomfortableness. Love that it comes with socks and guards.

Not the best quality. The velcro on the straps always dug into my sons legs and after 4 games the straps broke off. However, I do love that they came with socks!

These were good for both my boys. Not all the shin guards on the market have 2 straps. That's key to stay in place. These were comfortable and the socks were thick enough to handle the wear and tear of a kid soccer game. They also wash well which is key!
