I recently purchased this BUSHIBU Wooden Jumbo Pencil to help my child improve their pencil grip (that's what I told my wife, but I just want to have this as a silly toy), and I'm very impressed. The oversized, chunky design is a huge plus. It fits comfortably in a child's hand and naturally encourages the correct tripod grip, which is a key developmental milestone. The quality of the pencil itself is excellent. The lead is dark and writes smoothly, without being overly soft or prone to breaking, even with heavy pressure. I've used both a standard sharpener (one with a larger hole) and a jumbo-specific sharpener, and it handles both well. Also, I have done drop tests (while wearing the cap), and there is no damage to the pencil at all. One detail that really stands out to me is the thoughtful design of the pencil's cap. The head cover has a hole inside, which is a crucial safety feature. This small but important detail prevents a suction hazard if a child were to put it in their mouth, providing peace of mind for parents. This pencil has made homework and drawing time much more enjoyable for my child and less stressful for me. It's durable, well-made, and genuinely effective for its intended purpose. I bought this jumbo pencil just for laughs, but it’s become a total hit! I took it to work and even brought it to the bar — everyone loved it. It’s hilarious, great quality, and an instant conversation starter. Definitely one of my favorite random purchases ever! You can actually write with it and the eraser works.

This thing is so goofy i love it, and it writes and erases well. It was fun to use and i got a good laugh out of it. It’s durable too, so no accidental breaking the lead of the pen easily! This would be a goofy gift for someone, definitely worth the price!

Ordered a blue pencil, and instead got a light purple. What was suppose to be a joke at work (my boss taking my pencils from my desk) ended up in my daughters hands and she loves it lol
