MN weather defeat—oops! Correction: I just needed to be more patient!
I waited until MN weather was warm—soil temp read 70—planted the caladiums, two in each of three beds—and of course MN weather immediately brought deep cold and repeated cycling between warm and cold. So, long/short, none of the caladiums came up. But that’s my fault. I should have put them in pots instead of the ground—and kept the pots inside until July! UPDATE REVIEW—success! On July 4, two of them sent up shoots, 5 days later a third one did, and then two mor popped up two days ago—I’m expecting the sixth to show up any day now. All they needed was much warmer weather to really warm up MN ground. They are beautiful and strong caladiums, and some bulbs have as many as five shoots up today. Thanks for the great caladiums!

Completely dead, not a single bulb grew, dishonest seller AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS
Not a single bulb grew, all completely dead. I have contacted the seller via amazon for a resolution, will update this review if they make things right. UPDATE: Seller responded and said they would send another order as they do not provide refunds. Here is their response "Thank you for contacting us with your concern. Unfortunately, we can only offer a replacement if the bulbs arrive damaged because there is so much space for user error when it comes to growing caladium even for seasoned growers". The bulbs arrived dead. That pretty much meets the description of damaged. So I asked them to send a replacement. Then they stopped responding. And then they never shipped a replacement. Luckily Amazon filed an A to Z warranty claim against the seller and I did get my money back. 2nd UPDATE: I informed the seller that because they did not send replacements as they indicated they would that I had filed an AtoZ claim against them. I also told them if they made good on a replacement I would update my review. Now after the AtoZ claim they decided to respond. Here is their response "We never offered a replacement. We are not responsible for incompetent and inexperienced growers. thanks for understanding, wish you better luck next time." STAY AWAY FROM THIS SELLER. HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICE. LIARS. NO CONCERN FOR CUSTOMER.

They all came up right away!
Every single bulb came up even though I planted them in Florida in the heat of summer (mid-July). They're still showing in force at the end of August. These are strong and healthy bulbs and, as long as you give them a good start with good soil, water, and love, I'd say they're a zero-risk purchase! These are in a shade garden under an almost solid canopy of old trees. I stopped hand watering them after 2 weeks but we're having plenty of rain.

Nothing happening
I planted the bulbs (2 orders), the day I got them, and it has been over a month, and I am not seeing any growth yet. To be fair, it has been raining almost every day since them, so that may have not helped. I have dug down in the soil to see if I can tell anything is happening. The bulb was soft and mushy, so I am not expecting too much. But, who knows, I love the picture of how they look in the ad, and I can only hope for the best!

3 weeks to deliver
It took 3 weeks to receive my order. That is ridiculous. The caladiums bulbs arrived very dried out. So dry that the exterior of one bulb peeled away. I don't have high hopes. I have them in a bucket of peet moss and watering them with warm water in the hopes to revive them. This is the worst looking order of bulbs I have ever received. So far, it looks like a waste of money. Only time will tell. UPDATE: It took a long while, but all but 3 grew. They do not look like the picture. They are red with green edges but are certainly a different variety. That is very disappointing because I already had this color in the garden and specifically wanted this darker shade.

Half of them did not grow.
I bought these to plant in rainy season in South Florida which is their perfect climate only half of the bulbs grew out of the ground. It’s been a month. The ones that did come out Which was within the first week were very beautiful
