For some reason, most eco-boxes have disappeared. Buying big heavy thick plastic bottles over and over is crazy! There's an island of plastic in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and I wouldn't be surprised if it mostly detergent and laundry product bottles. I gave these a try! You don't have to, but I emptied them into an old Downy bottle with the spout on the side. Nothing goes to waste here so I even cut open the "empty" bags and tossed them into the rinse water and it worked perfectly! Clothes come out soft and smell great! All that got tossed into the trash were three totally empty and clean plastic Downey bags. Now, if we can convince P&G not to do away with these!

I absolutely love this product it fits well in my cabinet and is so easy to refill the bottle. The same quality product less waste. I have not been able to order for 2 to 3 months now. I truly hope they have not quit making it.😣

TBH I have never been a huge fan of Downey. I don't ever use their laundry soap and hated their dryer sheets... so I tried this cause it was the better choice financially when I was in need of liquid softener. The fragrance is OK. Im not a fan of strong laundry scents so that says something if it doesn't bother me. I use it in a smart washer and have had no troubles. I have sensitive skin and I haven't been itching like crazy, so I may even purchase again if no strange symptoms pop up between now and then...

In February of 2023 I paid $13.99 for a box with three packages of refills. Go forward about six months and they were $25. Then today, when I finally found some independent sellers offering them, a package of three refills is almost $40! Why is Proctor & Gamble making these wonderful refills so hard to find? Last time we needed Downy my husband thought he was being sweet by getting — and paying for — this gigantic bottle that is not concentrated. I’ve tried it with my wool socks and they just aren’t as soft when I have the huge bottle. And when it’s time to throw it away I’m going to be wondering what I can do besides send it off to some landfill. We recycle, but I still have concerns. I wish we could buy ultra concentrated Downy in the refill bags any time we wanted to!

Tide with Downy is about as American as baseball and Apple Pie....Probably a bit of an exaggeration, but it’s been a part of my life since childhood and I will always love these two smells together. The April Fresh scent from Downy is one of many scents we’ve tried over the years, but it’s definitely our favorite out of the recent options. It has such a perfect mix of outside, fresh and “clean” all mixed in one. You can get Tide with this fabric softener already mixed in, but it’s a much better value to get The Tide and Downy separately, you pay much less per ounce. And these refills just add to the value. Compared to the bottles, the per ounce price of these is pretty spectacular. I absolutely recommend this to others! Smells amazing long lasting

Leider war ich ziemlich enttäuscht. Es kam völlig verklumpt an, so dass ich aus eine Flasche bequem 2 gemacht habe und es hätte für gut noch 1 Flasche mehr gereicht. Es löst sich selbst nach intensivem Schütteln nicht auf und viele Reste von dem (teuren) Weichspüler bleiben im Spülfach zurück. Vermutlich war das Produkt (ur)alt und ich musste das ausgerechnet erwischen. Frischegeruch gleich null, für denjenigen, der es mag ist das okay; die Wäsche ist weich nach dem Spülgang, aber vom Duft her nicht vergleichbar mit Downy April fresh. Naja, schön ist anders. Wieder was dazu gelernt. Bin wieder zu meinem Downy April fresh zurückgekehrt. Man sollte eben bewährte Produkte behalten.
