Old fashioned wire harness wrap
If you have an older car that used "tape" wire wrap from the factory--DO NOT USE ELECTRICAL TAPE. The adhesive turns to liquid and the tape lets go, and leaves a horrible miserable mess. this non-adhesive tape solves that problem, and when you get your technique down, it looks totally factory for my 1971 Camaro and 1956 F100. Everybody has a method, and the method that worked for me working alone in my back yard was I cut the wires I wanted to wrap to be a foot longer than needed. I then clamped them to the bumper of my truck--something that won't move--then I clamped the other end of the wires to a wheelbarrow handle and moved the wheelbarrow until there was a good amount of tension on the wires but without tearing them apart. Then your wrap the TAPECASE tape around the wires while keeping a good amount of tightness on the wrap. If the wires get a bit too loose, move the wheelbarrow. Very crude and rudimentary but it worked for me.

Its a great wire harness wrap.
So whenever I repair or build a wireharness I wrap the whole harness in this. Seal the ends with a turn or 2 of regular super 77 electrical tape then cover the whole thing in convoluted tubing to make it just like OE. This is what you want to wrap the whole harness in. Its thinner than electrical tape and does not leave a sticky residue after being in a hot engine compartment and thats what you want in a wire harness wrap.

Vinyl but not sticky
I expected an adhesive backing butbitvis vinyl strip roll. I had to tie it since it didn’t hav any adhesive backing.

Zero adhesion
Don’t buy this if you looking for tape! This unrolls like a plain strip of plastic, no adhesive on either side of the “tape”.

Review for 1”3/4” vinyl tape
I am providing a four star rating for the purchase of the 1” 3/4” vinyl. The tape arrived in a timely manner. The tape is an excellent product; I used the tape to re-enforce the wrapping for band connectors. This tape is non adhesive, but that not a problem because it molds to the wrapping very well. The is a bit pricey; regardless, it is a great product.

Best harness wrap
The best stuff for wrapping automotive white harnesses. As stated in the description, THERE IS NO ADHESIVE, WHICH YOU DO NOT WANT. My second roll of the stuff... Plus it's the desirable Taeyoung product.

Great product! Great price!
Excellent for re-wrapping your wiring harness. It kind of sticks to itself, but doesn't stick or leave residue on your wires. Has just the right amount of stretch to do a nice job too.

It worked awesome and you almost can't even tell I did some ...
I stupidly grounded out a connection in a wiring harness that turned a wire into a little heating element, burning the jacket off the wire and melting some of the factory wiring harness. After cutting away the old tape and replacing the wire, I used this stuff to wrap the wires back up. It worked awesome and you almost can't even tell I did some repair work on it.

This non sticky tape at one time was quite hard to find. Not anymore. The stuff simply works great and is a must have for harness work. Never, ever commit the sin again of using electrical tape...

Ordered the 1” and 1.5” and got TaeYoung branded non adhesive tape, which is GM approved for OE use. Excellent tape. If you do any electrical on a GM vehicle (or any other brand of car really), this is the tape to use. Will be ordering a few more because this tape is very hard to find and get.

Good product for manufacturing wiring harnesses

I preferred the Velvet Cloth Tape as it is easier to install, much more permanent and also gives a neater finish.

Absolute useless garbage. It's like black electrical tape with no adhesive. DO NOT BUY!!!! Total ripoff.
