Perfect for me, my skin, my wallet and the planet!
Super product! I love the idea of waxing but I could never wax successfully and stress free (I first started with Veet strips, that left bruises on my skin and was a nightmare to clean up afterwards. I then found and tried sugar wax recipes online: they worked really well, but they take so much time for an uncertain result). I was looking for something that was healthy, easy to use and cheap, and found it all in this kit! The added touches of sustainability with the cotton strips and just the natural recipe made this even more perfect. As I explained, I’m really not a pro in waxing and had maybe done it like 4 times in my life before trying this, and I managed to use it with no problem. Works perfectly on the legs (as seen in my beautiful picture). A bit less perfect on the armpits, and I bled a little but that’s because my hair had become so thick from all the shaving so I’m not too worried about that, pretty sure the next few times will be fine. I am yet to try on my bikini area but I’m looking forward to it (whereas I dreaded this part with other waxes). One pot of wax can probably last for only one waxing of each of these accumulated body parts (so both legs, armpits as well as bikini in total once). The only negative point that I have found is that since the strips and applicators are reusable, I don’t really need to buy the full kit again, but I can’t seem to see an option of just buying the sugar wax for my next “session”. It would be a shame if I always had to buy the full kit, as the whole point of it is that its components are reusable. The other small issue was just that my room temperature was never enough so I had to go heat up the wax a few times during use, but I assume that it’s because of the general UK weather (I believe this is an Australian product so it’s normal that their room temperature is hotter).

Absolutely amazing! Worked great for my sensitive skin
I don’t usually leave reviews, but this time I just had to. I’ve always struggled with hair removal, particularly on my upper lip as I have extremely sensitive skin. I’ve tried wax strips, threading, shaving, and eventually I just started plucking each hair individually - yet still each method came with its own consequences and a few very embarrassing rashes. HOWEVER, I think I’ve just found my new holy grail - super easy process, managed to remove all in one go hairs after I tried it out a few times and formed my hand, very minimal pain - and the best part? Absolutely no irritation whatsoever!! My skin was only slightly red for 15 mins max, and after that it looked perfectly fine - no rash, no bumps, nothing out of the ordinary. If I can offer you one word of advice, it would be to apply some baby talc on the area you wish to wax as it absorbes all moisture and makes everything a lot easier. If you have sensitive skin and are wondering whether to try sugaring out or not - please do give it a try, and hopefully your experience will be as delightful as mine.

Very good wax
Wonderful product. Was pleasantly surprised. Also was not as painful as I had anticipated. The cotton fabrics that come with are of such high quality (very thick). All you have to do is dissolve them in hot water and you can them again. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because 1 tub isn’t exactly a lot. It seems like it’s a lot but it finished quite quickly. It was just enough for both legs and thighs and a bikini wax. I’ll definitely be buying again anyways

I would love a refund for this waste of money
I'm an experienced waxer, I use a hard wax and heater. However, I'd read about sugaring and watched a few videos and was intrigued to try something that's supposedly gentler, less painful (although I find hard wax fairly painless) and supposed to cause less ingrown hairs. Firstly after researching sugaring techniques and learning that it's supposed to be applied against the direction of the hair growth and pulled off with the hair growth, I was surprised to find the instructions on this product were the same as waxing (applied with growth, pulled off against). I was under the impression that the reason ingrown hairs are less likely with this is because of the direction the sugar is supposed to be pulled, meaning that it will encourages hair re-growth in its natural direction. Secondly, the consistency was too thin and sticky. Not runny enough to apply for strip waxing and not hard enough to use for the ball and flick method. And there's no way I'm heating it up, I might as well use my normal wax. Lol. It's also has left my skin sore, bruised and red and barely took the hair out of the root. It arrived mostly stuck to the foil lid so a lot of product was lost. I would love a refund because this is awful and a complete waste of money, but as I've opened it to try it I'm not sure how likely that will be.

This is brilliant!! So much better than everything else I've tried
I have been using this for years now! I find it's so much more gentle than normal wax. Better than shaving or hair removal creams in my opinion - I've tried them all. In terms of legs and around the bikini area: by now I only need to wax again every month or so. Re: the underarms - girlies this is so much better than shaving - by now I only need to wax every 1.5-2 weeks not every 3 days!! Leaves skin soft and smooth and stubble free. (Normally, I use veet miraculous oil post-wax which I find prevents irritation and keeps my skin extra smooth, hydrated, and soft.)

Good for bikini line
I don't want to spend tons money in salons anymore, and £60 for a wax is a lot! So, I thought I'd try home waxing again, although I seem to remember past experiences with strips haven't been great. But this comes pretty cheap and with good reviews so I thought I'd give it a bash. Ok, it's very sticky. Next time I'll heat it a bit but it's OK to spread once you get the hang of it, plus the current heat wave probably helped too. The wax did my legs ok and I was able to reuse the strip a good few times. Pretty much painless as you can pull the skin really taut and the hairs all grow in the same direction. Bikini line. Fine, a slight pain but very manageable and far less than I'd feared. Took out all the hair but this time spreading was hard. The wax became very sticky and I couldn't reuse the strip more than once or twice. Also, here it's OK to pull the skin firmly enough to ease the pain and get good results. Once I started sweating from the effort, heatwave, perceived pain etc, my skin became a bit wet and waxing became impossible as you need dry skin to do this. Labia and underarms. It says on the packet to really look carefully what direction the hair grows (and not do your genitals, ahem). That's an impossible task in these places - as is to get the skin taut enough. Hair still remains there but at least I've got nice legs and can wear bikini bottoms with confidence! I've rinsed the strips with warm water and they're as good as almost new - the edges fray a lot. I'd say this is a great product for the money, especially for the bikini line and legs. However, you can't really get a Brazilian with this, in case that's what you were hoping for.

Complete kit
Complete kit – very convenient and practical What I love most about this wax kit is that it comes as a complete set – it includes everything you need, from the wax itself to the fabric strips and even a cleansing soap. It’s super convenient, especially if you’re just starting out or want something ready to use right away. If I reorder, I’ll definitely need the fabric strips again, as they naturally wear out over time and start to fray at the edges. But honestly, from a hygiene perspective, it’s a good idea to replace them regularly anyway. Overall, a really practical and well-thought-out set!

Doesn't make up for professional salons
Ive never sugared at home myself but ive been a fair amount of times to professionals to know how its done. This kit had mixed reviews so I took a risk. It was okay, but it didnt pull out much. I tried it on my knee and you couldnt see where i'd waxed. I could see some hair on the cotton strip but it'd have taken me years to do a bikini wax! It kind of just slid off the hair
