Incredibly impressed so far
I haven't carried it around everywhere with me yet, but the capacity is stunning! It essentially transforms via folding flaps that lock into place with velcro. In its collapsed/shallower form, it is still a formidable backpack, and even a young kid should be able to carry it with ease. In its expanded/deeper form, it is massive. The average child will not be able to carry a fully-loaded pack, for weight and awkwardness both. Even an adult will probably catch a few stares, as you will look like a human snail with a massive shell on your back. It's supposed to be very water-resistant, and the materials feel quite sturdy. There are more compartments than you could imagine. My ONE major concern is that - despite being sturdy fabric - the bag will still tear under all the weight of the huge game boxes I'm lugging around. My lesser concern is that the zipper used in expanding/contracting the main compartment to convert from deep/shallow modes will not hold up, and it will cease to be convertible to the smaller form.

Best gaming backpack, if a little expensive
I have been looking to get a board game backpack for a while now. I just never wanted to drop the cash to get one. Over the last year or so I've been researching the different options. Originally I had planned on purchasing the ENHANCE bag. I had it in my wishlist for some time. I loved the flat storage and the map pockets. I don't recall how I found the Ultimate at the last minute when I decided to buy, but I'm so glad I did. The thing has everything I wanted, flat storage space for the boxes and lots of storage packets for various accessories, including a book pocket against your back and clips for game mats. It also has thick padding to cushion your back. What also tipped me to going with this one was the ability to fold the front closed and use it as a regular backpack too. I hadn't seen this feature before and clinched me getting this one. I would say the only drawback to this bag is the price. It is an investment for sure. But considering the amount of money I drop on kickstarter campaigns for boardgames, I figured it was time to get a bag that matched the investments. Lastly the color. I went with the grey. I wasn't sure from the pictures with the guy wearing it if it would be too lite of a grey (then shows darker in the main photo). I'm happy to say that in person it is a nice medium gray color and I'm very happy with it. I would wholeheartedly recommend it if you are on the fence.

It will fit just about anything a gamer wants to carry!
I am very impressed with the capacity and functionality of this backpack. I am an avid board gamer and Magic the Gathering player. It can hold comfortably just about anything you want to carry. When the back pack is extended it can carry four to five card binders. It is able to carry all of my deck boxes, playmats, and trade boxes while it is collapsed. All of the pockets make easy access for token cards, dice, computer. Cons from what I can tell the coozy pockets the coozy part doesn’t come out so take some space away. It took me a minute to figure out how to expand the bag, but it has foldable flaps to support the sides and bottom which was a nice touch. Overall I recommend this bag to any trading card player, board gamer, or good for a short term trip bag. My image wouldn’t attach to the review but could easily fit my big box of hero’s realm, two ticket to ride boxes, 7 wonder box, and three smaller games easily.

Holds and amazing amount of games...
This is an unbelievable backpack. If you are into games and tournaments you should have one of these to carry your stuff. Very durable with so much room. A bit pricey, but worth it in the long run.

Worth every penny!
I've been accused of having too many board games in my lifetime ... And I'm always toting them around to different houses and activities ... The backpack has amazing quality and attention to detail. I've been watching this product for a couple years, waiting for it to drop in price. Amazon Prime days let me snag it for under $100. After receiving it, it is well worth the asking price, but I'm still glad that I got it at a discount ... I would have loved for it to come with a manual about how to engage the different aspects of the pack. But there are some really good videos on YouTube that show how the compartments can be set up differently and what other people have done for optimal storage of games ... So excited to not pack my board games in grocery bags anymore!!
