I can tell this tea has roasted brown rice in it. However, it is NOT AS GOOD as the original YamaMotoYAMA, which was originally Green Tea with Roasted Brown Rice. Now there is only Green Tea with roasted (white) rice. Absolutely not the SAME! If you like roasted Brown Rice, you will not like this YamaMotoYAMA. GENMAICHA IS Good, Not Great.

I love the no caffeine, nutty flavor of this tea. i have been drinking it for over twenty years. Green tea with roasted rice makes fully bodied tea. No calories, no caffeine.

Green tea with roasted barley
Very similar to what I used to get only from a specialty Asian grocery store when I was in acupuncture school many decades ago. It is very healthful and tastes similar to that long-ago beverage.

authentic macha taste of burnt rice, very healthy and reminds you of being in the snowy mountains of japan while in a hot tub ( if you have ever been there.) very good first thing in the morning.

This Genmaicha Green Tea with Brown Rice taste fantastic - beautiful aroma when drinking. Great alternative for those who want drink green tea but are not so keen on the taste. I love it! Each individual bag contain 29grams of tea, which is more than the usual green tea bags, which does mean you could leave the tea bag in your cup and top up the hot water water without losing too much taste! Lovely taste, great for drinking throughout the day and only wish they sold more than 16 bags in a box! My only negative (and the 0.5 drop in the rating) is the £1.99 delivery charge. Bit steep for my liking as other sellers offer free delivery.
