What is the material in the "sponge" padding?

it was not soft and bendable it was like kneepad material.

Would these elbow pads work on the elbow of a labrador retriever? he needs protection for an elbow callous. thx.

I tried on my dog, it did not work at all! He is a pit mixed with something and he's normally large size for everything. But these didn't work bc their fur is so smooth that it just slides! And we don't want it too tight or else they won't have any circulation. And I used it for his elbows too but their "shoulder" do not hold it up either. If your pet has bad bleeding elbows there's an amazing shampoo that worked on my dog for the exact reason (we have tiles so he would bleed allot). We got it from our vet after 4 years of struggling with that condition! It's called Seborrhea shampoo (he also has skin allergies).

What size for an 8” elbow? Need a snug fit

My daughter is 7 and weighs about 60 lbs. it fits her perfectly. I never measured her elbow but I hope this helps.
