The Illustrated Rosary for Children (Catholic Classics (Hardcover))

The book arrived (2 days after it was logged in at our post office 😡—NOT Amazon’s fault at all, entirely USPS’s) in perfect condition, never opened (made the satisfying cracking sound when I opened it 😍) though I bought “used condition”, utterly pristine. My issue is with its content. This is identical to the Novus Ordo Rosary pamphlet on the inside. So to me it’s definitely NOT a book about the Rosary, just an enlarged size of a pamphlet with a hardback cover. And as a bonus, it has the Luminous mysteries. By the cover, and no given description on the listing it looked more like a traditional pre-Vat II Rosary book, which is what I was hoping for. So I was disappointed on 2 fronts and returned it. Even if it had been acceptable, they don’t even have each mystery on a page by itself with an illustration—rather strange for a book with the title The Illustrated Rosary FOR CHILDREN.

Lovely book! Sturdy and great value for the price. I only wish there was an illustration for each mystery.

Love saying the rosary

My daughter and I recently started reciting the rosary and this book was perfect, it shows where you say which prayers and gives the words to each prayers.Additionally, the book goes over each of the mysteries with pictures and is very kid friendly. I keep the book with my rosary and refer to it every time (I'm still learning the Apostle's Creed and the Hail Holy Queen).

I purchased this to go along with a Children's Rosary for a First Communion. The booklet is very nice.
