Huge design flaw!!!
love the look of the light fixture. Did not give it 5 stars because it had a major flaw. Standard E12 light bulbs do not screw in deep enough to make the connection. The metal piece that holds the shade on is too tall. Had to order E12-E12 extenders to remedy the design flaw.

Great overhead chandelier for the price
I bought this chandelier to modernize my Victorian dining room. The chandelier is impressive for the price. The metal portions look terrific. The shades look a bit cheaper up close on the ladder during installation, but are lovely from afar (where any normal person would be). I shopped around quite a bit to find this style fixture. This was by far the best price. I am very pleased!!

Assembly is a hassle and requires an electrician!
This is beautiful, but the instructions for assembly are very limited. Now I have to hire an electrician to assemble it and hang it. I may like it once this is all accomplished, but currently this item is a totally expensive waste of money. I could have purchased a fixture from a local lighting store and paid. for the installation with much less hassle.
