Love these shelves! I installed them easily (with some drywall anchors other than the ones that came with the shelves—those broke while trying to scre them into the wall.) Other than the drywall anchors, these shelves are sturdy and beautiful. I am very pleased with this purchase and would purchase again. FYI... drywall anchors are fairly cheap at the hardware store. 😊

I liked the shelves so much, I ordered a second set to bracket the TV set. See photo. The wood has a great rustic look of reclaimed wood--I don't know what kind. But the 2 kits ordered weeks apart have similar color and grain. I decided to attach the pipe flanges to wall studs for more strength and stability. After locating 2 studs--about 16 " apart, typically--I attached the 4 pipe flanges with two , 3" No. 10 wood screws in each flange. (you may get by with a shorter screws). To do this, I used a stud finder, 2 foot bubble level, and a power drill/driver. I centered the shelves between the supporting pipes and used two-sided tape on top of each pipe support to hold the shelves in place. I used a 1/2" length of tape for this purpose. NOTE: It is not a permanent attachment, but keeps the shelves from shifting while placing/removing items, cleaning, and occasional bumps. These are after all decorative shelves.

These shelves are great! Our toilet is tucked to the side of our shower so it’s hard to see and looks so bare. I was looking for rustic shelves to put in the space above the toilet, but they are so expensive on other sites like Etsy. These were decently priced and had pretty good reviews so I figured I would give them a try and I am so glad I did! They were easy to hang, just make sure you have a level to make sure they are even. They are real wood and pretty heavy so try to at least get one side into a stud to make sure they are securely in the wall and won’t cause issues.

Boards are not level, even though the description states they have been planed. Also, the drywall anchors were junk - completely unusable due to breakage - so we had to go out and buy higher quality drywall anchors to be able to complete the installation. Also, the boards were so rough I got a splinter when I picked one up. My husband sanded and put a satin clear coat on them. They are still reclaimed barn wood, and they still look rustic, but now they don’t look like shelves that still belong in the barn. They look very nice and I am happy with them now.

Sturdy and pleasing to the eye. No instructions, but not hard to figure out what to do. Anchors may not be needed if you are drilling into studs/backing. Wife was happy with the results...she had originally selected a more expensive option. Would recommend to a friend. Might purchase more in the future.

Purchased these boards - I received a set with an imperfection and Nick was awesome. He sent me a new set right away. The boards themselves are solid and the pipes are perfect. They come with everything you need to install (anchors and screws) and look great In my home. Definitely recommend this seller and their product!

I was searching for a pair of light-colored rustic shelves to match other wood furniture in my living room. These shelves were the perfect fit. They are simple in design, and they are sturdy. However, we have plaster walls in our home, so installation was quite difficult, even with a power drill. Despite the installation process, we are very happy with these shelves, and we definitely recommend them.

These shelves are very well made and have that true farmhouse look to them. The wood is nicely treated and hardware is easy to install. My husband installed them in less than 20 minutes.
