good to curtail kitties
I live in an apartment and was told I couldn't alter the appearance of my small back patio. I ran this chicken wire on the outside of my patio fence to create a catio. It's purr-fect. I fastened it with white zip ties. It works very well to keep in my kitties & keep out animals that could otherwise fit between the rails AND you can't see it without being on top of it. (I have 2 cats and one will find a way out if there is one.) It was a crapshoot for this to work but it sure did! The first 4 days my escape artist cat pushed his way out 4 times, but since I've reinforced it he hasn't gotten out. I'd recommend it to anyone else who is trying to do the same thing.

Light-weight chicken wire at a competitive price.
I actually bought this for horizontal overhead support for the plastic sheeting that I drape over my raised beds on frames made of 1" PVC piping. I have an arch over each bed every 3-1/2 feet with one longitudinal pipe shared by all the arches. The width of the spacing gives good working room, but rain would puddle and make the plastic sag and it was a pain to get the water off. I draped the chicken wire across the frame and fastened it to each arch with cable ties to make a supporting layer that wouldn't block light. The plastic sheeting seems well supported and it looks like it'll drain off very efficiently with no pooling. The chicken wire netting is well made, 20 gauge, average thickness not heavy-duty. Arrived quickly and well packaged.

serves the purpose
This wire is a 20 gauge wire, light weight. I probably would not want to use it for fencing in a chicken yard because it's pretty soft. However, there are other uses for which this wire is perfectly suitable. I am using it around a strawberry bed to keep my little dog who is a strawberry thief out. It is 2" mesh as described. Perhaps some others have gotten a not so good batch, but mine turned out to be as indicated on the description, so it works for me just fine. I gave it the four stars, not because it's really high quality wire, but because it will function fine for light duty with no problems. And the price can't be beat. The heavier standard 2" chicken wire is three times as expensive as this stuff.

YARDGARD Poultry Netting: My Garden's Guardian Angel
My vegetable garden used to be a battlefield – a constant fight against hungry rabbits, curious squirrels, and even the occasional feathered freeloader. Then, I discovered the YARDGARD Poultry Netting, and my gardening life transformed from a frantic warzone to a peaceful paradise. Fortress of Fence: This netting is no flimsy joke. Made of strong, galvanized steel, it's lightweight yet incredibly sturdy. The hexagonal weave creates a secure barrier that keeps even the most determined critters at bay. The rabbits used to be Olympic hurdlers, but now they take one look at the fence and politely turn back. Rust-Proof Rescuer: Unlike other netting that surrenders to rust after a single season, YARDGARD's galvanized coating stands strong against the elements. Rain, sun, and even snow haven't tarnished its shine. It's a durable defender built to last outdoors. Easy to Deploy: Unlike some netting that requires a degree in engineering, YARDGARD unrolls and installs like a dream. It's flexible enough to conform to any shape garden bed. I had my entire perimeter fortified in no time, leaving me with more time to enjoy my flourishing veggies and less time chasing squirrels. Overall Verdict: The YARDGARD Poultry Netting is a game-changer for any gardener. It's strong, durable, versatile, and easy to use. It's given me peace of mind and allowed my garden to thrive. If you're tired of sharing your harvest with unwanted guests, this is the solution you've been waiting for. Happy (and secure) gardening!

Weave too large
This chicken wire has holes aboutv2 inches large which is too big for screening in chicks. Because the weave is so large, the fencing is very weak so it stretches and distorts when you try to use it. It might be ok for other uses, but my need was to line chain link fencing with it so my chicks couldn't escape the barn and be attacked by hawks.

Great Product
Used this wire to hold a few chickens in their pen. Works great and worth the money to buy if you have a pet project. Would definitely buy this product again if I should need more.

Love the item height
I combined this item with the 4' x 50' mesh fencing to make a stronger boundary temporary fence until we can afford to replace our back fence we share with a neighbor. I got the step in posts from a local home improvement store as they were more than half the price of the same ones on this site. I also got cable ties, which I didn't need to use as the slots on the posts worked fine for both items to sit into. Easy to put up and cut to whatever size you may need. Hardest part was finding and getting the banding off to unroll it and install it.

We used it for fencing....worked fine.

Easy to work with, stretches conveniently. Worked great on our catio we threw together this summer. No issues with it unravelling yet.

Everything is just as expected. One thing to be considered is that the cutting point for untie has to be marked because I had hard time to untie this item at first place.
