I Have Fallen In Luv!
I ordered this product a few weeks ago but only started using the Argan Oil today. After my first application, I immediately fell in love. Mind you I have never used Argan Oil before, but after today, I will hold Argan in my skin care arsenal. This Argan Oil by NOW Foods is wonderful. -it has a light nutty aroma, very subtle - the liquid is a very light pale yellow color, no sedimentation or particles noted that I can see -it has a dropper which is super helpful when applying (you will feel like squeezing the dropper all at once, that is how much u will luv) -absorbs eas-i-ly -non greasy -makes your skin feel luxurious and moisturized 'I contacted the company via email and this is what they informed me abt the Argan Oil: Manual crushing & cold expeller pressing of raw, non-GMO, organically farmed dried kernals of Argan tree, without use of solvents in the extraction. Double filtered to remove particulates and packed with nitrogen flushed.' The bottle is 2 oz and I think is a good size to start with. As I only plan on using this bottle for my face and hair, I think it will last me a month or two, maybe 3. I will wait on getting the larger size as I don't want the oil to sit around too long. I have def seen the Josie Maran brand and eyeing for over a year now but feel quite happy with NOW Foods Argan Oil. I also purchase many of their essential oils which are also excellent. The Josie Maran brand is $48 I believe in Sephora for 1.7 oz. Great Oil, great price. run and buy.

My Story on How I Found this Amazing Product...
Had a pedicure by an overly zealous technician who cut into the cuticle corner of my big toe and made it bleed. At first, a small bruise appeared under the nail corner and then it started to spread upward. I was going on a 2+ week vacation and painted my toe nails a solid color to hide the bruise. When I returned, took off the polish and to my horror, the nail had cracked up the middle from the corner where the bruise had started. I panicked even more when I thought that the eponychium (the living membrane under the nail cuticle) might be permanently damaged, which could affect future nail growth. I frantically researched the internet for help especially after half the nail came off with no signs of new growth. I read testimonials about Argan Oil and tried it by buying a 2 ounce bottle from a local health food store. I liked the oil at the start as it really moisturized all the dry skin around my nails and the nail bed that was exposed. I continued to use the oil daily and I'm very happy to report that after 6 long months, my nail has grown back fully better than before. All my nails are no longer brittle and there are no piles of dry skin around them. Added bonuses: my heels are the smoothest they've ever been with no more cracks; the nails on my hands look like they've been manuicured regularly (which they haven't been for 6 months) and the small patches of eczema on my knuckles are kept under control; results on my face (used after seeing eczema results) - the small patches of dry skin around my eyes and nose no longer exist. Argan Oil is truly an amazing product and the best part is that the Amazon price for a 4 oz NOW bottle is just a few dollars more than the 2 oz bottle found locally. Great Product! Great Deal!

Liquid gold, dear sensitive skin sufferers... LIQUID... GOLD...
No way. No way would an oil – a mere OIL – remedy decadeS (<--notice that plural there?) of what could never be healed by such a simple solution having worked my way through hundreds and hundreds of natural, organic, nutritive, fancy, expensive, Very Expensive, vegan, GR-free, chemical-free, moisture-boosting, anti-aging, serum-having, plumping-promising, over-the-counter, from-the-farmer's-market, made-from-scratch, made-by-Tibetan-monks products. And yet it does. The painful, dry, cracking, prematurely aging skin is going, going, gone. It takes a few weeks to get used to it, do not get me wrong (I imagine some may need less or more depending on skin type), but the results are positively glowing, dewy skin without a harsh chemical in sight. My preferred method, after much trial and error, is a nice warm, damp washcloth pressed gently on my skin for a few seconds after a delicate wash to exfoliate, then almost an entire dropper gets massaged gently into my skin, smoothing upward, working gently around the eyes (but DO keep clear as you don't want oil in your eyes). I even massage it up an into my scalp, run the extra down the length of my hair and wash out in the morning. BAM. Full-on angel face and hair. I do this a couple of times a week. Otherwise it's perhaps a few drops at night lightly brushed across trouble areas, perhaps massage some on my hands. Go to sleep. Voila! If I wasn't writing this I would not believe it. Being very conservative, I'd say regular application over the past years has taken 5 to 10 years off my face. I keep hearing it over and over again so I just have to give respect where respect is due. There's been no other change to diet, exercise, climate, stress. Just this lovely, light oil. It's a dry oil but even so, if you're going to use it in the morning, I suggest adding a dot or two to your makeup and watch that stuff transform. Even if you use liquid makeup sparingly. If you don't use makeup, and I cannot because I get chemical burns, then a splash of warm water – NO scrubbing – followed by a splash of very cool water and then a dot or two barely swept over your skin will give you the bright skin you've longed for.

argan oil: more than just a skin mousturizer...
I have long ago stopped using mainstream cosmetics for my skin and hair care needs... Big brands, appealing products and a huge advertisement campaigns for what? Just to poison you with nasty petrochemicals... Argan oil, together with other natural alternatives like shea butter, olive oil and many more are my new choices for mousturizing needs. However, due to crowding of these natural products field, there are many opportunistic products which use the name argan oil but offer nothing more than vastly diluted oil in nasty chemicals. This product, offering hundred percent pure-filler free oil, definitely stands out of the crowd. So far I have tried this on my skin, cracked-dried lips and hair. It is great that it comes with a droplet applicator so you can adjust the volume according to your needs and the area you apply. For my skin and lips, I just apply and leave, for my hair I apply it wait for 10-15 minutes and then wash, but where you use, how you use depends on your liking and the remedies, if any, you follow. Basically sky is the limit. I have never used it as a dietary supplement, all I can say is that it has somewhat of a bitter taste. It is expeller extracted, which means that the nuts were put into big mechanical screws and under high pressure 65-70% of the oil contained within is extracted. For more extraction (the remaining 30%) you need solvents like hexane which introduce health risks. The company website guarantees that this product is hexane free and that is a plus too. However mechanical pressure may increase the heat of the oil and that heat might have some detrimental effects on the quality and flavor of the end product. There is no sign that the mechanical extraction is done under cold conditions (cold pressing) to prevent quality loss. So I assume it is not cold pressed.Nevertheless cold pressing is a wobble term without any regulations and although cold pressing should ideally be done below 90F, products labelled as cold pressed in US might have been exposed to temperatures up to 400F so that label does not mean much at all.. This product comes in a thick dark brown glass which prevents light mediated long term effects and glass is much safer than plastic too. Droplet applicator, also, is quite useful for precision. Last but not least, there is another reason I love argan oil. After a bit of internet search, I learnt that Argan trees , growing exclusively in southern morocco, offer excellent protection against desertification-deforestation and erosion and besides that, this growing industry creates employment opportunities for women which, overall, raises their socio-economical status. So one drop of mousturizer coming out of a tiny brown bottle has a lot more to do than just helping your skin

Good choice
The bottle was larger than I was expecting so I was excited about that. I use this as an ingredient to make a beard oil and it works great. It is very moisturizing and has a gentle smell to it.

Silky, luxurious oil for face, hair and skin
This 100 percent pure argan oil is rich in vitamin E and essential fatty acids which hydrate your skin. I’m 45 and somewhat obsessed with maintaining my youthful skin, so argan oil is a natural choice for my facial skincare arsenal. Argan oil can be used on your body, face, nails and hair, so this is the workhorse of oils. And if you have acne problems or sensitive skin problems, this is the oil for you. If you’re not aware what the comedogenic rating (causing acne) scale is, I strongly encourage you to educate yourself for your own benefit. Just as an idea, the following is the comedogenic rating scale runs like this: 0 - Will Not Clog Pores 1 - Low 2 - Moderately Low 3 - Moderate 4 - Fairly High 5 – High Argan Oil is a 0, that’s right I said zero! Not only is this oil fantastic for anti-aging because of the fatty acids, but it’s also a weapon against acne. And it soaks in completely, so you can apply this in the morning before your make-up. Also, your hair will absolutely love this! And a little bit goes a loooong way, so a few drops should do it, especially if you just styled your hair. I like to put a little more in my hair at least 30 minutes in advance of washing it, so it can soak it and help my hair be it’s true glorious self. ;)

Fast-absorbinb multi-use oil
I wanted to try argan oil after receiving a sample of the Josie Maran brand in a subscription box. I love it, but couldn't justify spending that much on a small bottle of the stuff. The only difference I've found is that the JM brand has no scent. It is probably refined and the scent is just processed out. Personally, I don't mind the scent. It's not pleasant, but it also doesn't linger and is gone a few seconds after you apply the oil. You can always add a little essential oil to it if it bothers you. I love this brand and am on my second bottle of it. I love a good multi-use product, and this is definitely one of those. Here are a few ways I use it: 1. I have really thick, really curly, realllllly dry hair, so I've used argan oil a couple different ways to help tame it. If I'm co-washing my hair (washing with conditioner only), I'll add a few drops (just two or three!) to my hair serum and run it through my hair, making sure not to evenly disperse it. Then I diffuse my hair. It comes out feeling and looking great - soft, no frizz. If I'm washing with shampoo and conditioner, I'll put a few drops in my shampoo to help keep it from stripping my hair. I will say that if I don't diffuse my hair, it can look a little "dirty" - oil + diffuser is key. 2. This oil dissolves quickly, so I transferred some to a tiny dropper bottle to keep in my purse. My constantly dry hands are very happy now that I can apply it as often as I like. I added a little orange essential oil to that batch. 3. I used this on my face as a moisturizer. After washing my face and applying whatever miracle cream I'm convince will de-wrinkle my face this week, I put four or five drops on my hands, work the oil into my hands, and then rub my hands over my face. Doing it this way helps keep me from putting a ton of oil on my face. It absorbs so quickly that I can put my makeup on just a few minutes later with no issue. It's a great oil and this particular brand seems to be high quality - I will continue to buy.

The Real Deal Here! NOW Solutions Argan Oil/Great for Any Skin & Hair Types!
First, let me begin by saying, I LOVE NOW Solutions products as the quality is always considerably above similar brands. I use this oil often, good for hair and body. Great moisturizer as this oil is very close to the sebum in our own skin, so this blends quickly. I plan to order two bottles at a time from now on. I tend to use this for my hair, and skin (even feet) once out of the shower. Please, skip all other products (shampoos, hair products and lotions) that claim to have argan oil among other ingredients. I have found many other products have very little. Simply add this to any beauty regimen. I wish this were sold in larger bottles as I use mine rather quickly. NOW Solutions products also tend to be moderately priced too. Nice Tip: Excellent for hot oil treatments!
